I'm a former leftist and can't believe the amount of denial I was in. I eventually got sick of liberals calling everything racist/sexist/whatever and decided I want nothing to do with them. Liberalism is nothing but a cult of hypocrisy, hate, and denial.

I was a centrist. Those were my first political beliefs. I was ignorant and politics didn't mean anything to me at the time.

Over time I began to understand society, and in doing so, formed both social and economic right-wing beliefs, albeit, around a libertarian core.

But after some time, I realized libertarianism produced no agency for progress, neither did standard conservativism.

I was susceptible to more radical and progressive stances at this point. I sought out political perspectives focused around what was absent in the right. Fascism, the perfect amalgamation of tribalism and strength, abiding by science and innate biological emotion. The concept of romanticizing a social ideal and striving towards it militantly was simply perfect. It had progress.

I was apolitcal until my senior year of high school. I really didn't care to follow politics, I was what I call a proto-normie. I fit in with normies just fine but I could tell I was different. The big turning point for me was I took a current events class. It was in that class I saw first hand how simple minded women are. This was mid 2014, and Hillary Clinton announced she was running for president. The girls (including the teacher) acted like it was best thing they ever saw. I remember spending that summer harassing feminists on instagram. Then when Trump announced he was running I supported him. So yeah, big red pill was that dumb class.

I have been mostly center my whole life and always seeked the truth. Before the internet and durring high school (graduated 2000) I leaned left, and thought Clinton was the one the best presidents due to the economy durring his presidency (though I still wanted Ross Perot to win).
Up until 2009 was when I started to get the whole picture and see how full of shit Clinton was.
First time I voted was in 2008 for Obama, the man did not give me any kind warm fuzzies, but Palin was such an asshole, the nigger seemed to be the lesser of 2 evils, and Bush with his backers made the Republican party look terrible. I wanted 3rd party but I did not want to risk the Repubs to get in.
2012 I voted Garry Johnson because there was no difference between the parties.
2016 voted Trump and only 3rd party for everyone else.
Not too happy with Trump and his kike cabinet.

I've never been a full-blown LEFTIE that espoused the ideals of Marx-Engels, Lenin, and Mao. Though in our country, only organizations and politicians that are left-leaning (or having a discreet relationship with the underground Left) support the cause of the farmers, workers, and minorities. Perhaps, everyone of us are politically diverse due to the events happening within our country.

Still, who knows where anyone of us will end in this diverse political spectrum in the near future.

Oh I remember the segue from divorce to racism. Being in the courthouse. There were two lines at friend of court. One line for men to pay their child support bills, and a second line for women to complain that child support was not being paid. I'm surrounded by family and peers who are left leaning. I argue with them and if I actually debate them I tend to come out stronger, problem is I argue from a more centrist position that values the other sides arguments, they just basically throw their hands up and walk away when I present evidence they're wrong.

For example:
