My tip to you would keep some of the apathy (makes things less frustrating when looking at the world) but still work towards something. If you don't feel like you are making a difference than what's the harm in trying, or just living for yourself that may help others as a side thing

You're literally nothing. Which is fine so long as you don't get in the way of others. Once you object to something politically you get placed on the spectrum somewhere. So if someone starts mass deportations of ethnic minorities, would you object, and for what reason?

I'm 31 and the same way. The way I live with it is just not participating. We're all just trying to be happy - unfortunately, a lot of people don't realize this. Buddhist philosophy may help you if you want to read. It takes away the apathy and helps you shape a better world view.

It's not that I don't care about anything so much as I don't care about policy that doesn't affect me. I can identify when something is going to affect me indirectly though and so I care about that.
Like I support gay marriage because them getting married doesn't affect me but them constantly complaining about it does. I however reject all the gender and sexuality education in schools because having the next generation grow up with loopy fruit understanding of the world very much affects me.
I work toward things and have goals. I'm not as apathetic as the OP probably made me seem. I guess I just don't get people care about a lot of the things they get so fanny flustered about.

So you aren't completely apathetic to everything. If you were, you wouldn't care either way. A bit of advice, don't care so much about identifying as something on the political spectrum. It's pointless. Just hold your own beliefs and if people want to label you as something, then let them. I don't identify as anything, but if I were to spill the beans about all my positions, I'd likely be placed somewhere far right, but it matters not because all my positions are based on logic reasoning and evidence. I don't let predefined ideologies determine my positions.
