Our politicians are bought and paid for and not by the type of people with grand plans, but are mostly just trying to exploit existing systems of power for short term profits.
Our Government spends money on wasteful services, if you have a public health system you don't subsidise private health, let the rich people have their health system if they want to pay for it. Billions wasted on Aboriginals for what return? They aren't required to do anything but exist. The amount of wasted money and wasted potential in Australia is staggering. All these uni students and young workers rotting because nobody wants to train them. It's fucked up.
Melbourne spends more money on enabling shit artists than it does with cleaning up its streets of homeless, gangs and other human garbage.
