The American Jewish IQ did jump drastically, in a generation. The Ostjuden of the Pale Settlements were backwards superstitious hicks. But the ones who emigrated west made their kids study all damn day and learn piano and violin non-stop. The next generation grew up with incredible mental stimulation, neuroticism beyond imagination, impossible ambition, and a ridiculous resentment of their strict and heavy handed parents.
