I'm not poor by any standards, but I have a bunch of well-off friends, who literally had no regard or whatsoever to poor lower class people. Even stranger they're the ones who identify themselves as ''liberal'' and openminded. So it's weird to me

Arrogance seems to go hand in hand with competence or perceived competence. I notice it in muh vidyas with cheaters, I notice it in my classmates, and I notice it in politicians and bussinessmen. There seems to be this assumption that since *I* made it, I'm better than these stupid dumbfucks, look they can't even do what I can do, what a bunch of shitter retards.

And over time that sort of infantile and toxic animosity builds up into a person who has nothing but contempt for their 'lessers'. It seems to strike those who lack moral or ethical guidance in life and haven't suffered much ill-fortune or setbacks that forced them to reconsider whether they're really as competent as they think they are.

It's a manifestation of hubris. It could be mitigated with proper philosophical guidance and moral teaching in our children, but we don't really do this in any meaningful sense.

Take out loans only for this kind of situation where the loan will make you more money than it costs you to start with. That is how you get started on the path towards wealth, but it's not easy. Finding ways to turn money into more money is not easy at all.

If you're poor and work hard at the very least your kids won't be poor from all the corner cutting and shekel saving you do.
