That surplus is temporary and will eventually dwindle as the population goes up. Economics cycles are not taken into account in post-scarcity economics, and neither are natural occurences that disrupt the planned economy, or unusual events that crippled a democratic republic's capacity to operate and plan ahead (because true communism is stated as being ruled by the Proletariat, ergo a democracy).
Communism, because of these real constraints not planned ahead, are forced to adopt state capitalism, and therefore are obliged to operate like a national-socialist/fascist political entity or be torn apart by their own hypocritical following of Marx's word. My example that would support this case is China (also in a lesser example Juche in North Korea), which has turned into "Communism in name only" over the past decades, and to support my view of the eventual fall of any "true" communist uprising in the long run, I'll take every other communist country ever.

That's a good question. Stalin said his ideology was "Socialism in one state," to oppose the internationalism of Trotskyism. Meanwhile, Hitler called it "Natonal Socialism" to differentiate it from Bolshevism.
This is the entire reason the horseshoe theory has so much merit at the end of the day. Both are authoritarian command economies, with incredibly draconian social stances. In fact, you could effectively argue that the Soviet Union under Stalin was actually more socially conservative/reactionary than Hitler if you look into it. The words and reasons may differ, but from the view of the common man, the man national socialism and state communism feign to represent, they are practically the same on a day to day basis.

'Communism' as Marx wrote about never existed because it's fairy tale bullshit. The Soviet Union had more of a command-economy with racist wealth redistribution schemes.
I guess the difference is the Nazis allowed more free-market mechanisms while the Soviet Union tried to eliminate that for maximum inefficiency and peasant deaths.
