2018 Midterm Elections Thread

>reminder that the 2018 Midterms is the most important topic of the year

>reminder that shills are littering Jow Forums with an unprecedented level of slide threads to distract you from this topic

>reminder that shills want you to drop support for Trump by exploiting the fact that he's too aligned with Israel so that make yourself and everyone more vulnerable for SJWs/BLM/feminists/socialists/illegal immigrants to take over

>reminder that they still want to enact their revenge for losing in 2016

>reminder that they are simmering with rage and will show you now mercy if they win

>reminder that Trump and the GOP are the better option

What do you base the 252 on

Thanks for reminding everyone OP. It is also important to point out how much these stormfags are helping out the zionist run NWO by shilling as a single-issue retard.

Thank you for this. I wonder the bast way to organize this. For some reason people here have been apathetic. There used to be a run down of all the important elections. Is that on that website?

Nice digits.
I’ve posted this in other threads, but it’s important for people to pay attention to the tactics being used in their state. Dems are going hard in states that voted trump. Notice the Starbucks debacle and threat of riots if trump fired mueller. In Oklahoma the teachers just had a two week walk out. The unions have emphasized that the “real winning will be done at the ballot box.” If there is a way to counter these tactics the Republicans could be successful. I’m worried that historically the republicans are not very savvy and usually caught flat-footed and respond terribly. Thoughts? That’s the way I see it, but I’d be interested to hear other opinions.

The GOP is blowing it's opportunities in this year's Senate races. It's looking like there are going to be only 3 truly vulnerable Democrats---North Dakota, Missouri, and Indiana. The recruitment in Montana, West Virginia, Ohio, and Wisconsin simply is not materializing. While Rick Scott can make a go of it in Florida he's unlikely to get to 51% in this political climate. The the best part of Rick Scott running for the Senate is that it forces the Democrats to spend money there. The Democrats have great chances in Nevada, Arizona, and Tennessee.

And Hillary Clinton then elected, the GOP would be on target for 60 Senate seats. But since we ended up with Trump, and him poisoning the political climate, the Senate majority might end up staying where it is.

You guys can get fucked. If you guys couldn't win PA-18 (Which leans R+20), then there's no way you can keep the House or even maybe the Senate.

This unfortunately. And keep in mind a lot of these red state Democrats in the Senate were elected buy margins that beat their states' presidential margins by more than 20 points. These red State Democrats are street fighters out on the frontier.

>Trump poisoning the political climate
Spotted the shill!

>reminder that the 2018 Midterms is the most important topic of the year
How? What difference would it make if Congress is republican or Democrat? Answer: none.

I would love to have an actual political discussion that doesn't devolve into the typical Jow Forums nonsense.

>And Hillary Clinton then elected, the GOP would be on target for 60 Senate seats
What difference would this make? Republican Senate won't bite for anything other than tax cuts for the rich. They wouldn't fund the wall or ramp up deportations. So it is really of no consequences whether they win or not.

>If there is a way to counter these tactics the Republicans could be successful. I’m worried that historically the republicans are not very savvy and usually caught flat-footed and respond terribly. Thoughts?

Republicans are the Texas of politics. I say this because Texas, despite it's image (conservative, tough, cowboy, action!, etc), is best described in a Texas saying: "All hat and no cattle."

The reality is that Texas is that Texas, despite having every right to deploy armed soldiers to its borders, instead put on a little "display purposes only" deployment in response to the "border crisis" of a few years ago. -- The action isn't a "one-off" unique event, but actually the norm.

And it is that same non-action, the same "all talk" that *IS* the Republican Party as a party. (Think about it this way: what has the Republican party stood for, at all, since Reagan? Not any of it's stated party planks!)

> That’s the way I see it, but I’d be interested to hear other opinions.

Despite Trump winning a lot, the Republican party as-a-party aren't aligned with him; remember in reality it's not R vs D, it's the elites vs. the rest of us.

But what I was referring to is the politics of the midterms. With Hillary Clinton in charge in Washington, the GOP could have played fierce opposition just as they did under Obama. The entire political narrative and climate would have been the opposite of what we see today. Instead of a blue wave, we'd be in store for a red wave likely resulting in a 60-seat majority for the GOP.

Republicans will get BTFO. If you think anything different you're delusional. Best case, they keep a 5 seat majority.

Americans don't want moral and sexual restraint, individual responsibility, and a homogeneous society. They want to be better consumers with more financial power for less effort, and the Democratic Party's policies enable that.

It's true. Trump lost most of his support by pushing gun control and shilling for DACA.

We need more chimpouts to rally the base. Starbucks could use more fuel.

Who is the biggest republican lobbying group? The US Chamber of Commerce. What do they want? Open borders and tax cuts for the rich.

The republican strategy is to give just enough lip service to voters that they will turn out at the election, while only serving interests of the chamber of commerce, AIPAC, military-industrial complex, etc.

Them winning or losing does not matter

he was being sarcastic dumbass shill

I'm voting full Acceleration-pill. Whoever the craziest most insane leftist is, that I who I'm voting for. Muslims, immigrants, middle east criminals? Let them come in. Degeneracy everywhere? Fine. Christianity shattered into a million pieces? Wonderful.

The Republicans had eight years to prepare, and with Trump they had two years to change the country for all time. They accomplished NOTHING. Not a single significant thing except putting us in even more debt so billionaires could get a big tax break.

So you can call me a fucking shill all day long...Me and mine are done with your bullshit, Christian, cucked political party and all of the old faggots that have betrayed us. In November we are going to vote you traitors out of office and watch the Republican Party die for all time. In the void hopefully something stronger is birthed.

>m-muh generic excuses defending Republicans!!!

...They could have used the Nuclear option to do whatever they wanted.

>n-no user you don't understand, the n-nuclear option...something something, m-muh honor, m-muh procedures, m-muh sacred processes!

Don't fucking care.

>Fuck Trump and communism are the best economic policies ever.

Attached: brainletblue.png (692x600, 147K)

Exactly. And it doesn't matter to the elite whether Democrats or Republicans are in power. To them, it's an 80 million dollar payday instead of 100, if they weren't using one of the tax loopholes generously provided to them.

I'm not a communist, I'm far-right. I'm just discussing reality, which is the same to any communist or fascist if they observe it in good faith.

This is entirely correct. The Republicans have been fucking us for decades and not doing what we wanted. They finally had all the power in the world which we gave them, and they squandered it. Before, they could cry about the Democrats stonewalling them--but not now. They are finally out of excuses and my only driving goal in life is to punish all of them and their rich donors.

I hope howling Antifa mobs ransack the Hamptons, La Jolla, Westport, and all of their little elite enclaves.

Republicans are going to be destroyed. Democrats are fucking pissed. They're not going to be sleeping at the polls like they normally are in midterms

I was referring to your support to the Democrats' policies. Not you.
You easily forget the Republican party has been compromised by the Democrats who like to think of themselves as kingmakers.

They don't have a real platform beyond what gets them more power. So instead of attacking their fuckboi, its better that the Democrats go away first.

I don't support Democratic policies for the most part. What I said is that Americans want a less moral and more sexually open society, less individual responsibility, and less homogeneity. They want to conform to the religion of equality, with human progress as its defining myth. They want greater economic comfort and the ability to be better consumers. The Democratic Party is more in line with their interests.

I will vote Republican 100% no matter what

Fuck the Demotards

Only representative of 1/3 of the country. But what I am trying to say is that there is a difference between saying and doing. Democrats say free gibs but they've never followed through on it.

>Only representative of 1/3 of the country
No, the Democratic Party's proposed policies are in line with a majority of people's principles.

Reality still doesn't align in your favor. You made a lot of solid republican districts blue for no reason.

You can nitpick but the general trend is overwhelmingly against the Republicans. Democrats have been increasing their vote share by 10% or more in special elections and demographics/ideology continually slide leftward.

And what are those proposed policies user?

source on the first and last thing you said?

>black-white marriage
That's such a fucking mainstream issue. All those Republicans that want to ban it.

>Gay marriage
It's not like the Republican President came out in favor of this before an comparable Democrat.

>Taxes
Yes, we get it. Democrats are middle-class communists.

Holy shit, nobody cares about two of those issues anymore and the tax cuts are quite popular, thank you very much.
