You're going to have to compromise on some aspect of true religiosity by attending a modern day CofE church if you live anywhere with a population greater than 10; but that's almost irrelevant, as you realise that Christ is not about the transsexual vicar standing infront of you wearing high heels, it's about a personal relationship with God through the historical worship that saw Providence guide events in a favourable manner, and also the literature that has been produced regarding the true meaning of the Gospel and how to honour the sacrifices that have been made for you in the name of others. This may sound woolly, but ultimately that's what religion is - a woolly dressing of the truths of existence that enables the human mind to grasp a fraction of what purpose this existence serves.
Catholicism has its obvious flaws, which are not worth listing here and Methodist structure is an incredibly odd thing to get in to, so perhaps some other time. If you are unsure, attend a few services and see what you like/find least horrific.
Absolutely - and it will be the death of them. Good. I stopped giving to my church a long time ago when I found out how much of our church funding was funnelled to the diocese and then to the central head office, I suggest everyone else does the same. Free churches are perhaps the future, but I don't have the luxury of choice living where I do.

Society's problems aren't a result of abandoning Christianity, although that has made them worse. Ask yourself why it has abandoned Christianity.
