My GF turned 21 and I'm buying her a gun to carry in her purse.
I think this can be is an optimal choice.
Jow Forums give me suggestions if you don't agree.
My GF turned 21 and I'm buying her a gun to carry in her purse
buy her a gun that is small enough to fit inside of her purse
have you thought about one that fits in your pooper?
Get a lil 22 for the purse. Good at close range and wont fuck her up when she pulls the trigger
S&W 38 sp, is perfect, if you get it too light (the CCW specific models) it might feel too snappy for her, if she's a little wimpy. otherwise yea i guess good choice. take her to the range until she can drive nails, you probably know this but if she can handle it get her to shoot a 357 or some shit until she;s not scared, then this will feel like a toy to her
Smith and Wesson M&P Shield in 9mm
>My GF turned 21 and I'm buying her a gun to carry in her purse.
Don't. If anything ever happens, the nog will just take her gun from her and shoot her with it. Women are like children- you don't want them walking around armed.
Why don't you take her to the range and let her try out the options to find out what she's comfortable and good with? It's a tool. It's not particularly useful if she doesn't know how to use it and you don't know if she'll be any good with the choice.
She is biathlon enthusiast, .22 something she knows well.
Do not purse carry. That means any engagement with a robber usually starts with fighting over your gun.
How much stopping power does a 22 have ?
Why not just ask on Jow Forums
The same as his gf, but a year older
She's a woman, the first you should be worried about is her not hurting herself with the gun. I'd pick something without a hammer and with a holster protecting the trigger. Pic related.
she is used to shooting, she's ammeter biathlonist
is she lawfully allowed to carry? is she a member of a gun club?
Gonna break her wrist mang
This is the only answer. Idiots showing you semi autos need to gtfo.
SemiA are alright, but she will need to understand how it works. To be honest, the revolver is a point and click device, will never jam, and will serve her well.
good choice from OP in my opinion. I know people are on the fence about Rev vs Semi, but that's just the way I feel about it.
Bob the hammer or better yet go hammerless. Make sure she gets used to the trigger pull
seem small enough even to that small purse she uses when she goes to theatre.
its good. make sure that the trigger isnt too light, and make her practice with it.
giving girls gun with super light triggers and no training is a recipe for disaster.
have you ever pissed her off to the point she harms you, or breaks a ton of shit on her way out?
Ruger LCP 380. Small and compact, fits in a purse.
A 22 has the power to stop people from deciding they they wouldn't rather be somewhere else.
She's not yet I'm working on it.
SIG P365. Micro-Compact with 10rds in 9mm
Depends on many things but you're sacrificing a lot of barrier penetration, and a barrier could be anything like a heavy jacket or the palm of a hand.
.380 and up is standard good advice, especially with modern guns and modern loads. Small 380s are very small. 38 special is just over 380n and 38+p is just under good 9mm loads, point being that .38 is just fine, better than fine.
OP let her pick it out. It's so simple.
LOL no dude
>not taking her to a range so she can choose her own damn gun
Listen women have tiny fucking hands, some guns just aren't as good for girls.
There is a board for weapons you dumb redit cunt. Fuck off outta here retard
well neat then.
i mean, you cant go wrong with a .45/12 gauge derringer. they look sweet, and your gf would be forever a badass even with tendonitis
Ruger LCRx 3” is a phenomenal gun. I just bought my wife one for edc and now I want one as well. It has almost no recoil and is ultra light weight.

Sig P238
S&W M442
LCR 38/357
SP101 2 inch
M&P Shield
CZ rami
P239
Etc...
her pick is
Gun: Volquartsen 22lr With Inferno Stock
Ammo: Lapua Midas +
Scope: Nightforce
Shirt: Grunt Style
But I want her to have a hand gun...
Go hammerless. Not a fan of in the purse though. Women leave purses laying everywhere. S&W J frame in 38 special can fit nicely beneath women’s clothes.
Ruger SP101 in Walnut.
I think that 44 mag would be perfect. She can whip it out and pretty much just pull the trigger immediately. Everyone in the room will be freaked out, including her
I'll check that she loves revolvers.
I got one better
dude I have .44 she won't be;)
