I've started to wonder about this myself.
I'm extremely successful in my career. Yet I find it extremely hard to find new jobs. It takes years to find a new position and 100% of the time it's because I knew someone who knew someone.
It got so bad I literally started my own business doing consulting. 100% of my clients have been other white males too. In the 4 years I have been self employed the only group to give me any business has been white males. Let that sink in.
Then, when it really clicked for me, when I was apartment hunting. Despite glowing references from prior landlords, a sterling credit and background check, it took me months to find a new apt because landlords kept ghosting me. They were all women. I definitely got the sense when touring the homes that the owners did not like me. It was a wierd feeling. Eventually I rented a small house from a white family, and I basically had to say to them, I've submitted countless applications and am desperate. The place I got, a thousand sq ft 1 bedroom, is drafty and infested with bugs. It is so upsetting this is all I could find in the area. I basically had to settle for the one place that would take me because probably nobody else wanted to live here.
And just to be on the safe side, before someone calls me out for not just buying a place, in the 4 years I've been self employed Ive bounced between 300K per yr and 3000 per year, so my income is way to unstable right now to settle down and secondly, I have to keep moving around to complete the obligations of my contracts, which often involve setting up special brick and motor locations. So to do that I usually move every year or so, to where the site will be that I am setting up for the client. I don't have the luxury of being able to set down roots since otherwise my commute would be horrendous. I keep my commute to like 15 min by relocating to where I set up each new site.
Time to turn to crime.

As a white male in similar situations as OP, I've had low spots where I've unironically considered crime, as it seems everyone else is playing life with cheat codes, but if I try to use them, I'll get permabanned. Life at the bottom is a lot like being stuck in the mud or snow. You can mash on the gas (just work harder! lol) but you aren't really going anywhere. Every little chunk you get only sustains your meager existence until the next little chunk comes in.
Crime is starting to look much more lucrative at this point. Like maybe only do enough crime to get initially out of the poverty, hunter-gather cycle, then use wealth in smart investments to stay above. Then reality comes in and I have to check myself! Jesus! I can't believe I'm even considering this shit.

It's not in your head or imagined, I worked in recruitment for the Canadian government through a third party.
I personally witnessed clients giving in their "referrals" of unqualified candidates with clearly non-white names (that matched the hiring managers names). And chose them over highly qualified white candidates.
We had other clients who directly asked us why we weren't sending them more diverse candidates ie aboriginal, other visible minorities to "reflect Ontario". The truth is these people weren't applying for the jobs.
When asking my manager (who was white) why this would even be an issue if the candidates were qualified she replied "it's a problem if they're all white".

300k/4=75k per year from that one good year, might have trouble convincing a bank to give you a loan but that's some damn good money to settle with. Shit, you could buy a house outright and have enough to live off with that year alone depending on the area (assuming we're talking profit not income).

With the exception of one chinese kid I hired through a college intern reimbursement program, and a female lawyer who was willing to work for equity, they're all white males.
