It's not just one single reason though, it's a combination of reasons just like most things these days. Geography, culture, their entrepreneurial mindset, their education, the ability to innovate and invent etc etc. When i talk about education i'm talking about higher education, they have the best universities and research organisations in the world. Then you have the fact that America is well networked such as all the VC firms and funding groups that fund tech startups and how they all connect to local universities - you don't get that where i live, you get VC firms but they only invest in shitty finance startups instead of risky tech startups - this is why so many tech giants come from America.
