haha, magic is too much, I'm not even a noob with photoshop, but I'm trying to gain some exp. shadows, light, color, and almost everything is my weakness, I do a few shops cause if a pro see my work poor work, he will feel shame and will to do a better one, and that help the OP hahaha.

what techniques are u using?

the way I work is just
0- find a donor.
1- Place the image.
2- deform to adjust a little more.
3- layer mask the donor.
4- color layer
5- maybe mix color if it help.

and that is... like I say I'm not even a noob. sometimes I remove the subject but not much than that.

I know there are few techniques to match the color, but it never work for me, I think I need to learn some color theory or something like that, I just use a layer with the color of skin that I want with the color or saturation fusion type
