A system where idiots with no idea of politics vote for idiots with no idea of politcs to be their rulers

>a system where idiots with no idea of politics vote for idiots with no idea of politcs to be their rulers
>a system ruled by a single person who was born and raised with the sole purpose to rule a country

Why do we hate monarchies again?

>the kraut likes to subordinate himself and lick what ever boot is put infront of him

No wonder muslims have it so easy taking all you chicks.

Mein Gott Hans.

go pray that your king makes more shekkels

I rather have myself to be subordinate to a single competent person instead of my single vote drowning in a sea on incompetent monkeys

Or you know, advance as a society and educate your people. Works just fine here.

>hurr sure everyone but me is stupid

>>a system where idiots with no idea of politics vote for idiots with no idea of politcs to be their rulers

there are no good governments.
the best government is one close enough to the people that nobody has to die when revolution happens.
But people always pile shit too high.

germans always so min max, never thinking of other solutions... maybe smaller nations are manageable. bigger aint... doesnt matter who rules it's the surroundings that matter.... Thought you guys had brains....

The right to rule should not be given to anyone based on blood, but should be given based on their service to the nation and its people. A king is told from birth that he's special. A militaristic dictator fights and claws his way up. He earns his position.

I will never bow to some rich faggot who grows fat on sweets and has never known pain or suffering. I'd rather be lead by a soldier who came from a poor family, who suffered through the hardships of poverty and war. That's the kind of man who will know what the people want and need.

This is exactly what the british aristocrats that designed (((democracy))) want you to think, only on rare occasions do the peasant class ever become governors its reserved for upper middle class or the aristocracy like we see in every fucking republic today.

Average IQ in the society is 100. You cannot expect everyone to understand how to run a state, since it is beyond most people's cognitive abilities.

Yes you can, we expect that of our people and even with the most direct democracy of them all, we seem to manage just fine.

You are expecting the majority to be retarded because the politicians they vote for do retarded shit. I wager if you put more responsibilities into the hands of the masses, it would result in much better states.

I don't believe in direct democracy, and that's not what I'm advocating for. I think that the ideal is a constitutional republic which grants citizens specific rights which can never be edited or removed from the document (right to bear small arms equal to what the military is giving infantry and the right to form militias). I think that leaders from various branches and departments of the military should vote every 10 years to pick a leader. The candidate must not be genetically related to the previous one, and must not be genetically related to the people voting. The candidate must have served in the military and shown exceptional bravery and selflessness at some point in their service to the nation.

This is how you keep the spineless queers out of politics.

>willingly cucking yourself
Doesn't surprise me from a kraut

You have constitutional mechanism to prevent retatdation, this 'magical formula' of yours. Moreover, you live safely in the mountains with no natural geopolitical enemies. You can take politics slowly with no need for rapid decisions. And then after that, you are a federation of few states, not a single, unitary state. On local level democracy understood as self-government is quite efficientent, there is no question, but on a national level it is too emotional and too inconsistent to develope into a valid form of government.

Cause they're (((christian)))

>Tiny homogeneous (somehow) country full of educated bankers is run well
Shocker.

>The right to rule should not be given to anyone based on blood,
Quite a bit safer than by giving it for popularity.
>has never known pain or sufferin
Boo-hoo, commie.

This magical formula has nothing to do with how our people govern themselves, it was the "formula" that made up our 7 presidents. 2+2+2+1.

And the rest is a very nice opinion of yours, but the USA is nothing else in structure and it does all these things. Just because the Americans petition or vote on legislation on a federal level or what? Would it really change that much

I'll have you know we have 20% immigrants and a lower university graduation rate compared to probably all of our neighbors

>Why do we hate monarchies again?

Because a shitty monarch can do a lot more damage and cause a lot more injustice than a shitty president. That whole "no check on power" thing.

Any other stupid questions, underaged faggot?

Just because they have more arts degrees and shit doesn't make them smarter. You guys also have more active participation in politics via cantons. That helps a shittonne.

A canton is a state. It serves the exact same purpose as a state. The Germans call it Bundesland. Yes, like in German, or the USA, theres a local part of democracy too. And our "states" are much less autonomous than American states. Maybe a bit more than german states.

I just mean you guys have a more direct democracy than anywhere else. I'd equate your cantons more to electorates (here) than states, given their legal prowess. With the exception that ya'll have a chance of actually getting things done.

I don't hate monarchy. I'm actually sad that the chances of a king to rule my country again are slim to none.

The only thing that makes our democracy unique, is that we split the office of president into 7 positions, the 7 main departements.
And, the direct democracy, meaning a initiative brought up by the people with 100K signatures, will force a public vote on the subject and the result will be put in to the constitution. That's a lot of power to the people. But its also the extent of what makes our democracy different.
Oh maybe the referendum, where the people can force a public vote on any law decided by parliament.

And both functions exist on a state and on a federal level

Helluva lot more than what we, or as far as i can tell, anyone else has. I prefer monarchy, but there are many reasons to be jealous of you chaps.

Magical formula prevents 'the people' from ruling themselves on the national level. Your government always consists of the same political factors and in the same proportion.

There is no supremacy of parliment in the USA, separation of powers is designed completely differently. What are you talking about? Then USA is a country of common law. They do all the things differently.

>People literally vouching for ANY form of government with more than one representative figure.

Holy fuck you people deserve the shit you get, fucking retards.
