It just occurred to me that without the infographics that get posted here I cannot find any official data indicating that blacks commit a higher percentage of crime or statistical data that disproves a correlation between poverty and crime rate. Table 43 in the FBI crime statistics data does not show a higher percentage of blacks committing crime than their per capita would imply.
Where is the data suggesting any of this?

Read "The Bell Curve". The rate of violent crime in an area is more correlated with the % of blacks than with the % of low-income residents. If you can't find the data then you simply haven't looked.

there is a correlation of about .87 between inequality and homocide. that's relative wealth + proximity as opposed to poverty.
It's also almost entirely rural.
