What would punk be in the modern day? I'm not sure that it would be a band since live music is at an all time low right now. Would it be a streaming band or something that streamed from weird places where live (in person) concerts wouldn't be possible (caves, on buildings, on boats, etc)? Would they even be a band or would they make some other type of media? How would you spread Jow Forums type politics in a manner similar to the punks of the 70s in the modern era?

I wouldn't know. There were not any real punk shows, or any rock shows in general for that matter, where I grew up. There were a few local bands, but they all sucked. I was more of a metalhead myself, and really, I'm a bit young to be a real punk. In fact, most everyone my age were just cocks trying on an edgy look to find a way to stand out.

There's no doubt a SJW culture within punk, but a lot of the street punk kids are just outcasts, have problems with parents, or other low-confidence issues and a counterculture is a way for them to fit in and prove themselves. Don't really think that's SJW. It's kind of sad in a way.
