I find the people who say every life is precious, and "if it were my kid" don't seriously look at the lifestyle that comes with raising a mentally retarded children with the severe health risks associated. They may still pay lip service to benevolence and altruism of supporting the disabled, and claim that they would do likewise if they could afford it, but the reality is they would all just quietly say there was a miscarriage and pretend it all never happened.

Eugenics are coming in a much bigger way very soon. Back in the 90s the OJ trial showed the general public didn't even understand what DNA is, so it's no surprise parents still for the last few decades still failed to grasp the significance of eugenics.

The real issue is the State is trying to claim legal ownership of the child simply because he is a patient of the State NHS. The parents have doctors in Italy that are willing to perform an operation on the child, but the State refuses to release the child. The parents have said if the State is going to take him off life support and let him die, than at least let them take the child home so he can die at home in his bedroom, but the State says no. And the best part is, the child was refused care 2-3 sperate times by the NHS before he became brain dead.

Just an FYI Downs Syndrome is a split chromosome defect - it can be eradicated from a population, but not eradicated from ever occurring.

Also, it's better for people who have the genes with the disposition of genetic disorders to not terminate a child with a defect - as statistically it means that they have the child, and then stop reproducing as the child with the defect will take up all their time. If they only produce 'normal' children, then chance for the genetic defects get passed down to the 2-3 kids they have and thus multiplies the chances for further genetic defects down the line.

My wife and I have been watching this situation since the beginning. The problem is that doctors said he has lost 70% of his brain and that he would die after taken off ventilation.

It is a little known fact that they did this through vaccinations. He was totally normal and then a day after the shots he lost it.

There seems to be a conspiracy to kill Alfie as there have been instances of turning off oxygen after he was on his own and also an attempted injection of fentanyl.

He is currently digesting food, oxygen level 95, and is grasping at straws and his parents. It's clear that he is diminished, but why are they in such a hurry to kill this baby when there have been other miraculous turnarounds with kids of this age. The doctors and the courts have determined that is to avoid futile and invasive treatment and to allow him to pass naturally.
