High-Paying Non-Manual Labor Jobs That Don't Require College

Are there any?

>And by high-paying, I mean >$60,000 a year or so, even if it were in North Dakota, etc.

Bonus if it's easy or fun. Extra bonus if it doesn't require years of experience. God mode if it doesn't even require a high school diploma.

Bump. Great thread on this yesterday; I'm just trying to get as many options as possible.

Business owner. But do you have the grit to do it?

>bump
come on you fucking reddit nigger...

Take surveys online and get paid. Im talking those apps where you download other apps and get rewarded for it. 20$ amazon gift cards for days. That shit can bank you a clean 85k per year.

How could there possibly be such a thing?

If it existed, the tens of millions of people without college, experience or a diploma would go and apply for that job, and then the bosses wouldn't have to pay a high wage to attract employees, and the wage was fall.

Are you literally retarded?

That's like asking,
"Where can I find a woman who doesn't back talk, doesn't cheat, spreads her legs for me whenever I want, and has dinner ready for me every night."

Probably a sales job if you’re good at it.

>Implying I'd ever be caught dead on that site other than via throwaway account to ask a very specific, specialty question that I would want to be open for answers for days.

Please note the difference between my initial question and then the bonus, extra bonus, and God mode. They are not all in one. There are plenty of jobs that fit my initial question, the questions then are (1) what more jobs fit this that I don't know of, and (2) which Anons will endorse which of those jobs as great or comfy.

One of my old neighbors taught himself to program. Now tele commutes to a coding job for a medical company. He makes around $40/hr
You’re crazy to think someone is going to hire a NEET for $60k a year though. You need to have some kind of talent.

>gift
You mean an inheritance for the startup capital?

Rollin'

do you have a link from yestardays thread? had an interview on monday for tech support . was harder than expected

So here's an idea. How's about you simply not be a loser and contribute something of value to humanity, then people will pay you.

please tell me how , i found some that are pure scams

There are a few, but they usually go to the son of the owner.

Yes, you can avhieve what you are stating, but no not within a year.

Industry: Insurance
Options: Worker's Compensation, Auto-Liability, Catastrophic Losses, Municipal (General Liability)
How to do this: Find a job as a claims assistant with a location near you ($25K-30K) does not need college, not even high school. Work as assistant for 1 year or so and ask to become an adjuster. Pass piss easy class for promotion ($35K-$40K). Don't be shit at your job now for a year and apply somewhere else or get promotion ($50K-$60K).

I literally have been in Insurance for 3 years and started at $30k and am now earning $56K per year.

>Probably a sales job if you’re good at it.

This, but the sort of person with the "I want something for nothing" attitude of OP will never be willing to put in the work to succeed at anything.

Grocery store dept manager. At the big chains they make around 85k plus stocks. I did it for my 20's and a part of my thirties. I lived like a poor person for over 10 years and put as much $ as I could into stocks.
It's hard work and lots of shitty hours but if you can just deal with it for 15 years or so life is on easy mode after that

I have over $1/2 million in my 401k and get around 40k dividends every year. I work a cushy job now making around 40k on less hours and less stressful work. I still put a ton of $ into 401k so my dividends get to be more and more every year. I'll be completely retired by 45 and I'm already 37. I'll prob still work for another 20 years tho just for something to do

Having a computer and demoing software isn't an inheritance, lazy ass nigger

People at the top of MLM schemes can pull in a couple hundred grand a year. The trick is to jump on it when its new. Real scummy way to make money though.

Security guard comes to mind. Night shift jobs will tend to pay better and require less work.

If you spent some time learning some basic computer skills, computer repair technicians are always well paid and in demand, especially if you are willing to travel from job site to job site.

Go do a few years in the Navy or Air Force doing some kind of tech-related job, get out and use your veteran's preference to get a tech job with the federal govt.

Doing basically the same thing here. It is an uncommon person who can self-teach programming, and an uncommon employer sensible enough to let you prove your merit without the pedigree of college, but the intersection of both is pretty fucking dank.

Claims adjustor

If you are dedicated and organized you can clear 100k a year If you live in at least a suburban area

Here is yesterday's: Do you have to be fingerprinted at any point? Not a felon/criminal/wanted, just curious.

What on earth? Which brands of grocery stores? And when you say "department manager," what do you mean exactly? How do you make your way up the chain? Are we talking Whole Foods too or not? What job are you doing now for the cushy job part?

You have to be licensed/fingerprinted, correct? Just curious. And work for yourself or a company?

This. Learning basic programming is your best bet, OP. You don't even need to be that great at it or know very advanced things. You'd be shocked how simple a lot of entry-level programming jobs are (and how relatively well-paying they are).

Security doesn't pay that great.

Even if you do manage to get full time, within a year they'll make some BS reason to get rid of ya or put you through hell with swing shifts.

Try some effort

>Meijer/Walmart/Kroger/etc

Just work your way up

If you want middle class pay, EZ. Get a 4 year college degree in any technical field.

>What on earth? Which brands of grocery stores?
Publix was where I worked. Their stocks return better than anything available on s&p and they give you shares plus will match your contributions when u buy shares. I went through 3 stock splits in the 18 years I was there.

>And when you say "department manager," what do you mean exactly?

Deli, produce, meat, bakery, customer service, grocery

How do you make your way up the chain?
It's really not that hard the key is to pick the right dept. grocery and meat are very competitive and demanding. Produce and bakery are a fucking cake walk. By all means stay the fuck away from the deli. Do not under any circumstances take a job in the deli dept. customer service is pretty chill if you can handle dealing with literal retards every day.
Ps. If you are anything other than a white male all u have to do is don't be a chimp and pass a simple test and you'll move up with ease.

> Are we talking Whole Foods too or not?
Meh, they aren't doing so hot as far as stocks go and they will prob crash soon. Go with bigger better brands with staying power. Publix, Wegmans, Kroger, Safeway etc.
go online and look up companies stock performance over the last 20 years and you'll get a good idea.

>What job are you doing now for the cushy job part?

I work for a private consulting firm teaching restaurants how to not suck. Think bar rescue

Walmarts pay is shit but there stock is doing well

Insurance claims adjuster. You investigate claims to detect over compensation and fraud, there are different types. Generally 30k for low end and cap out max at 75k unless you're like big-time with a known history from saving companies huge money.

You wont do well if you're a retard though. It's for intuitively intelligent people.

I will add that all you really have to do to move up is pretty much not suck at your job, just think of all the mutts that work in grocery stores. Can u preform better than them? If so you'll move up

waste treatment. I shit you not.

CNC tech requires training but it's more trade school than trad college, and i wouldn't call programming a machine manual labor.

you go to a community college, pay for some classes and they give you a certification. thats how all trades work really.

Game dev jobs.
Specifically art, design and programming.

I know many people who don't have a degree and just dropped out of school to make games. Having a good portfolio and networking skills are the only things you need.

Attached: ZoeQuinn-TA-1.jpg (1467x1100, 280K)

You guys are all full of shit.

Fair enough. I'm a college cuck for civil engineering and I've been thinking about going back for CNC or just fucking machining due to the amount of "We need more women engineers" in my field.

That’s not a lot of money

Ok faggots, when do you actually get good enough at a programming language to get a job? I've been plunking along at math and java for about 3 years but I have absolutely no direction with this shit.

There are lots, but college will get you into management and out of the labour market eventually.

I wouldn't ditch college if you take something practical and related to your field. If you want to go into IT, take something in IT.

Enjoy your blindness in 15 years buddy. That welding mask doesn't actually protect your eyes like it should.

>Wanting to get paid $60k for a skillless, soul-crushing shit job where you will probably be replaced by an unlimited quantity of cheap stupid Mexicans in the coming years.

nice. even something like that seems unreliable these days though, the market isn't what it was even 15 years ago

>Not mentioning you have to pay for the truck
>Not mentioning you have to pay for your own insurance, the vehicle insurance, and maintenance on the vehicle (unless you are sub-contracted out from a main company)
>Not mentioning it's not a job, I repeat, NOT A JOB, a literal lifestyle, as in, you will spend the rest of your days in the cab of a truck, usually 21 days out, 3 days back depending, it is more of a lifestyle than a job I cannot repeat that anymore

I'm a company driver myself (hate it, for numerous reasons) .Other than that I heard O/O was decent, but I've heard a lot of O/O say they were seriously thinking of going to a company fleet, since company drivers are making good money atm, I don't know about that though, always heard O/O made the better bucks. Though trucking is NOT for everyone, and I was told the lie that it was, it's hard, grueling, and you are rarely if ever home, dispatchers (or as they now call them, asset managers) push and pull you around and are general dicks, and even though trucking companies are in dire need of truckers, there are better jobs out there, fuck the winter months and the storm season months in the north and mid-west, tornado and snow/cold bullshit, especially the snow/cold, fuck that. Rather run the southern US for winter than that.

>Diesel gels up
>Bunk heater dies out

I did it learning front-end software development. Javascript, HTML, CSS. Took about 1 year. Make 80k and work about 30 hours a week

I feel the same way only I became an electrician

I'm in the same place and I'm building my portfolio by contributing to projects on github.

Law enforcement, start at 60k~ with no experience or training. Work a couple years and become a detective, make 110k~ a year.

Where do you look for jobs?

Attached: thats-bullshit-but-l-believe-it-30566808.png (500x327, 43K)

How and where and what did you need to specifically learn to get into it, I've studied Ruby, Python, and Java a little from some online sites, but from time to time it just goes over my head with some of the info. I guess the question is how deeply do you have to personally study the coding process to get your foot in the door?

Attached: 1502852062121.jpg (768x768, 51K)

Yup idiots don't know this one weird trick to making $10k a month from home.

Most jobs that "require" college shouldn't and didn't a generation ago. It is a socialist scam.

Interesting question.

First, REAL ESTATE
Licensure is cake, it's easy as fuck. You can do Commercial, Residential, etc.
I know a lot of ppl who had serious degrees but got tired of the shit and wanted to drive around and have a cushier job. One guy went into Commercial Realty, sells 2 buildings per year, clears about 56k
Second, TRUCK DRIVER/ Uber
I know it sounds silly, it's the quickest route if you want to travel, get paid good, and see the country while working alone making bank. My brother did it for two years just to work, travel and save money. Had 76k (in the bank) after 2 years of rent, food, and expenses.
Three, TOLL BOOTH WORKER
You would not believe what they make, it's insane, and quite possibly the easiest cushiness job I know of.
Four, PHARMACY TECH
Your not gonna make bank like 50-60k but you'll clear about 41k per year. It's cushy, it's always inside, it's generally stress free, and it comes with benefits.

Hope that helps. Just an FYI you are asking for the magic answer. Everyone in the US wants what your asking for.

I also work supermarket. What user saying is true. Especially if you're upstanding you can easily pull $1000 a week in cash. And after putting your time in you can indeed make 100-150k or more if youre in a private market.
I used to work this until i got a deal to operate one dept of the market as my own business. Saving and working become partners and expanding into other stores and other markets.
Still working like a dog after 15 years (started after 20 college drop out) now company profiting $5m a year and investments paying out $1m a year, spend most of my time playing alot of options and crypto (made $500k from eth between march 2017-jan2018), and just buying properties if i feel theyre cheap. Also nyc.
But if youre not gonna work for it. Just hope you meet a good boss that pays well and see potential in you.

>part-time mechanic, weekend DJ/sound provider and doing very small legal op cannabis grower/seller/oil maker
>live in gorgeous Northern California with grandma, brother and cousin for rent-free, in a 2 acre property (w/one 2bdr house and one cottage [currently experimenting with an semi underground earth home, to add])
> make $91k+ a year for the last 11 years, with a monthly household bill of about $300
>have a combined annual household income of $240k+ on average
Twas what happened to my brainlet ass when I dropped out of college (was going to be a history teacher).

Frito Lay

Trips of truth, sounds like you got lucky man, best wishes to you.

My Pick 'N' Save grocery department manager made $16/hr when I worked there in high school and he had been with the company for 12 years. Company matters.

Prostitute

Serious answer, Design. Get a starter job at a sign shop or a print shop or an industrial facility that does imprinting. Bust your ass weeding vinyl decals and cleaning silk screens for a couple months and if you prove yourself eventually someone will teach you how to use the software and do setup. It won't be super glamorous, but eventually, if you're motivated enough, you'll get a good grasp of Adobe/Corel and you can take that to a different better paying job. I learned photoshop in highschool to make memes and show flyers and now I'm the design engineer at a small light industrial company, getting paid to learn different CAD programs and getting sent to trade shows to network and R&D. Also most business owners in the industry tend to lean right wing/libertarian, I have no idea why, but it just happens to be that way.

Started as a cable install/repair tech
Starting pay $19.75/hr
Took all classes and training possible, got up to $32/hr in 4 years
Transferred into our network operations center, now I sit at a desk waiting for alarms to go off. I'm making $38/hr and overtime out the ass anytime I want it. Very close to breaking $100k with all of the OT and quarterly bonus payouts.

I had a few prostitue friends (not providers). The milage in that job is pretty rough. Also they get 400-600 in cash a day but always broke.

I know lawyers who dropped out of law to be real estate agents.

Then again, I dropped out as a lawyer to fuck around in China and teach English, so take that for what you will.

What the fuck. How do you actually do this? Could you give me an outline of what resources to use? I don't mind shelling out for textbooks if it means I could get out of my parents' in a year. Fuck.

Mmmmm Time Warner Cable now Spectrum starts at $14 here and caps at $22 and they typically fire anyone who's been doing it more than 4 years so they'll never see $22. Your mileage may vary. $38? LMAO only senior engineers.

Most business owners period tend to lean right because they see how much fuckin tax they have to pay

Just don't be scared to huddle with others or live in a unconventional manner (rent garage, rent driveway to sleep in car, live in tipi in backyard, etc) and save like a kike that barely arrived at Ellis Island. It'll help you build character, develop mobile survival abilities and manifest astonishing discipline in delayed gratification/foresight-hindsight assessment. In 2 to 3 years of living this humble way, one can save and pool six figures. Fuck renting $1k+.

No way in hell I'd do that again. Did it for 4 years for the city, escaped and have my own business now, but fuck that shit.

Here is what you/ they don't tell you.

The Academy, it ain't free. It ranges anywhere from 15k to 20k depending on the length of the academy. They'll cover the cost, but you have to give them a minimum of 5 years on the force, if you take off, quit or leave any earlier you can be stuck paying the difference, plus extra fees and costs.

The Academy generally starts at 0630 which means you need to be there at 0600 which means you have to get up, shave, shower, eat, around 0500 or earlier depending on where you live.

After Academy, your on a 6 month probationary period, you have multiple FTO's.

You have paperwork, Department politics, deadlines, quotas, policies and procedures, your overworked and underpaid, and unless you make detective which can take between 5-7 years, you will have to fill in every time someone calls out sick or whatever. Your Supervisor might hate you, then what.

Everyone you deal with on patrol is either an addict, a drug dealer, an alcoholic or similar. Everyone is lying to you, and the moment you graduate academy you are immediately hated by about 80% or more of the US population.

>DONT BE A COP MAN

People who say things like this either have previous backgrounds in programming or they're able to masterfully lie to people about their capabilities in interviews.

My friend put on his resume that he had 15 years professional experience in IT when he was only 30 years old and had only just finished a short "coding bootcamp" and had 0 experience or certs. A company started him at $80k/year salaried and his job was basically just installing Windows on computers. If you can master the ability to lie you can fool people but don't expect it to work if you live in a big city.

You work with me at Wal-Mart. I've been working here for 14 years and I could definitely show you the ropes.

Fuck paying over $20k for community college. Jesus Christ these opportunity costs.
