I feel really tired while doing something intellectually stimulating, on the verge of passing out sleeping, only for me to stop doing that thing and feel much better after. I never had it very bad at all. So maybe it's a general IQ thing, because mine is pretty good. But without even knowing much about it, I can say you can help yourself by doing the following:
-stop smoking weed
-stop drinking
-get better sleep
-exercise
-eat better
-get more fresh air and sunlight
-supplement vitamins & minerals if you're deficient in something
-stop watching porn
-unplug from electronic entertainment
-train yourself to focus attention for longer periods of time by reading books that are on the slightly challenging side

I had terrible brain fog a few years ago. It was caused by allergies, living in a stressful home and poor diet.

I have bad brainfog, I've had it for maybe the past 10 years. Foggy thinking, low attention span, forget things that someone told me literally 5 seconds beforehand, I get lost when arguing with someone because I can't even string together what points were previously brought up, mind wanders extremely easily.
It's not that I'm just stupid or something, I have a decently high IQ when tested 15 years ago, it's just I have these problems and I don't know why. I'm also tired all the time and have very low motivation.
I just started an all ketogenic diet that focuses on animal fats and animal products that are nutrient dense. I've read some people who have had similar brainfog get a lot better on this diet. It also helps raise T, which I may be low in, because I have a hard time building muscle too.

You have to pretty much remove sugar (and therefore simple carbs, and even most carbs in general) from your diet. If you start eating way more fats and protiens relative to how many carbs you eat, you will feel better.

I think brain fog varies by region. Southeast has more brain fog. The environment is full of bugs, humidity, it's hot, the infrastructure is built for cars so rarely anyone takes advantage of physical activity outdoors unless they're laborers or some rich people showing off how fit they are.
Southerners overuse pesticides and herbicides which makes males more effeminate due to xenoestrogens. They stay indoors more so they're more exposed to estrogen causing chemicals being circulated in their homes or businesses especially with air conditioning.

It's probably that along with many other things. Wheat has been heavily mishandled by greedy practices. It's basically the worst that it can be for health right now. The bromide/iodide issue is just one of many things that's wrong with current wheat.
