It inflates the price of everything even more. Its just a bandaid solution to high power prices, housing prices etc. Theres no competition in this country because when the government sold all our assests, they made deals insuring set profits for the buyers. Its literally the reason power prices are so high, the government guaranteed a certain profit margin when they sold the power companies then when people switched to solar, the companies all raised their prices to keep the same profit margin.
