Kaczynski was right in his diagnosis but I don't agree with the treatment. There's no need to go back to caveman tier. Yeah, pretty much. Anarcho-Primitivism would require some sort of cataclysmic event where everyone is magically wiped out and for some reason no one attempts to rebuild. The vast majority of all humans would have to die and the rest would have to agree to not rebuild and destroy any remaining knowledge whole not sharing any they might personally remember.
Clearly this isn't a realistic scenario, but even if it worked what would it actually lead up to? Survival for the sake of survival. Simply existing without any clear goal. Preoccupied with mundane matters of food and shelter. If one has a purely materialist worldview antinatalism is a much more logical conclusion.

Every single "peaceful" movement succeeded because there was a parallel violent movement. The perception of a peaceful movement allows the current powers to save face while acquiescing to the demands of the violent movement.
Also you should analyze your own thinking patterns. Why do you think civil disobedience is a successful strategy? Because you were taught it was in school. Public schools. A government has extreme incentive to teach ineffective strategies for influencing things that matter. Funny enough, Ted talks about this in his manifesto.
