I'm a telecommunications engineer, I'm meant to "work" 8 hours a day but in fact only do about an hour of real work and the rest of the time pacing, drinking coffee or talking shit and it feels like shit because my brother in law works hard and I love his daughter like the daughter I'll never have because I'm a socially awkward loser.

Telcom stuff actually really interests me. I would definitely like to get a gig working on cell towers, but I don't know where to find them listed nor do I know if I would qualify (no engineering/electrical background).

i've seen the job done by a guy that specialists in such stuff, he cut and mounted again tongue to my 2 trailers (nuts were to soft for the reasons I'd like to omit), wasn't sure i could manage this (I couldn'treally) so he earned some money, today I wouldn't hesitate, most of the equipment I use are migwelded, sometimes poorly, nothing I ever welded fell apart since I've taken to learn the stuff:

not one of you fuckheads even know why mig is inferior to ancient stick and what's the significance of my babbling - i'll explain, a monkey can learn to mig in 2 hours out of position ( thus you can see whamen doing it on juictube), but it's piss easy to make a cold weld that looks nice and holds nothing, joining together steel that holds tons above your head with certainty is when you go for stick, also when the material isn't 100% clean, when it's even slightly windy, when it's really hard to get to the spot welded and on and on it goes. Mig worls for the disabled and maybe when you have tens of meters of weld to do on a perfectly cleaned surfaces - but that's for somebody who's hired by the man, that's not me, that's not what you want to be even in line of this kikel induced thread.
