Argentina seems nice, especially Patagonia. When I was in Spain, I found it much easier to talk with the locals in their language than the French. I don't know if the Argentines are at all comparable, but I'm sure Spain and Argentina are much more similar than they are to Mexico.

Still, it seems pretty insecure as far as economy and government is concerned compared to Ireland or AUS/NZ. I mean, Ireland was hit pretty badly by the recession, though. But I imagine such a thing to happen in Argentina would be devastating.

Either way I'm not making a decision about this until after I save some money for a big down payment or to buy a cheap property so I won't have to make any payments.
