Even if you assume Jews have a higher average IQ that doesn't explain their over-representation because their population is so small they would still have to compete with an exponentially higher number of non-Jewish people with similarly high IQ's.

Take American football for example. Black people have a genetic advantage when it comes to sports and as a result overall the NFL is about 80% black however when it comes to certain positions in football, like quarterbacks, they're about 80-90% white.
