for one, Jow Forums back then was far different from now. it was less of an echo chamber as it is. All of this 24/7 race baiting bullshit was thrown around, but there were lots of people that would call it for what it is, stormfagging. Jow Forums was actually shut down for a time by moot because of stormfags and the general aids quality of the board.
It previously was a pretty good board that allowed discussion. it had 100% less ecelebs because these threads were pruned for the most part. Overall it was a better place for discussion than it is now by a longshot. Ron Paul's ideas made for good discussion about actual issues.
