We ask ourselves "Why are fat people not thin?" and we naturally say "Because they don't eat right and don't exercise."
But this doesn't square with reality. Most patients who are of a normal BMI and of a normal weight also do not watch what they eat and also do not exercise.
So, what's going on, then? Yes, while there are some people who are thin due to them exercising and taking are of their health, the vast majority of thin people don't do anything special, they make no determined effort to stay thin, their hormonal functions just simply dictate what their body should do differently from fat people.
Now, how do we correct this hormonal dysfunction?
No one knows, at least not yet.
