Our history teacher was old. We stopped with classes in 1935 or 1936 and that was it. I was never in a ww2 or Holocaust covering class as a result. My guess is that he wasn't really a Nazi himself, he just thought it made no sense to present a version of history if you cannot debate it... he loved debating history from all kinds of angles.
