American public (except for the die-hard evangelical Zionist boomer crowd) has become much more resiliant to the idea of a big foreign war like with Iraq. Most likely scenario, in my opinion, is that the government musters just enough support to go to war with Iran only through a massive false flag on Israeli or American forces, but at the first sign of big losses for American military, i.e. Iran blows up an aircraft carrier and all its personnel, there will start massive protests in America against the war. What will come of that, I can't say.

how has following the war affected your views on the place of morals in the human world? I have come to the conclusion that by necessity the natural state of relations between nations ranges only from suspicion to war. Both of these lead to evil. Murder is a transaction, human life and dignity a pawn.
I sit on my balcony and read, and look on as families are taking their children out to play in the clear spring sun. I know that my reading soothes me, and I know that their play is good. But if the aggregate is evil, then what does that say of these families? Does their goodness hold a light to the horrors of the whole? They are, after all, a part of the whole too.
How do you see your own place in the whole if the whole is amoral? I feel as though now that I've seen it I struggle to imagine that anything human could be good. I don't see how the two could be separated, and I don't see how I could forget what I know.
Miyamoto said Pikmin 4 was "almost done" about 3 years ago, I suspect they'll show it at this years E3, if not at the conference then during the treehouse stream. He pulled this with Pikmin 3 too, announcing it was nearing completion years before it actually released. It's the only game I'm really excited for this year (except maybe for Octopath Traveller)

Pikmin for several years now. nintendoeverything.com/miyamoto-pikmin-4-is-progressing/ Miyamoto said the game "fell down the list of priorities", probably because they wanted to cram a bunch of titles into the Switch's first year, but that it is still "in development". So I have high hopes they will announce it this year.
