And the recent law enforcement thing to catch that serial killer used GEDmatch, which is a voluntary place to upload your data from various testing services like 23andMe. So, you have to download it and then upload it to GEDmatch. 23andMe has also said it has never received a law enforcement request, which is what would be required by law for them to turn over anyone's data.
