How many of you go to church but aren't true believers?

How many of you go to church but aren't true believers?

I'm 40, married, 3 kids. I've been on a self improvement journey the last few years. Meaning I'm trying to be a better husband like she's been to me, batter father, protector, a better man really.

Should I take the Christ pill? I kinda like the idea of it & morals it brings.

Hey I started out the same way. Was a broken defeated man not really a beleiever but started going to church because of what it stands for. Over the course of two years of sporadic church going I truly became saved and had circumstances reveal that god is in fact a real thing. Now I'm going to be married this year and will populate the earth with my white children. Seek and ye shall find user. Catholic btw.

I would not have thought this possible only a few short years ago. It works user just go there

You owe it to your family, and principally God, to believe what you practice.

True believer, don't go to church.
Don't let faggots decide for you.

Attached: Picture 31.png (497x490, 442K)

Congrats! I'm thinking about going to Church but I was raised without religion (but not specifically atheist) and the parents are agnostic. I don't think I can believe at this point but I'm going to marry a religious woman and raise my children religious anyways. I really, truly believe it's the best way to live and find community, especially in towns where you have to drive to get anywhere.

Do you think God'll treat me worse if I raise a religious family and go to church without actually believing?

>Weeb image board making my decisions
Fuck off kike

You talk about God like he exists yet you don't believe?

I've walked the path of nihilistic material agnosticism for several years, but I'm slowly seeing the light.

I honestly think the agnostic experience helped me greatly, because now I am learning everything anew from a more mature perspective.

Seconded, God bless you user.

Christianity isn't as cucked as people say. It the theology that's the problem. Believing that Jesus came to reconcile you with God is not so hard, and all that's really necessary is to accept it. The rest is just Jew inspired horse shit.

Became a hardcore Baptist about 4 years ago. I used to be a hardcore atheist. No turning back.

30, married, 3 kids, I started off the same way, looking at church as a way to better myself and become a better husband and father. Eventually, over the course of a LOT of Biblical and historical study came to realize all of it was true, and it transformed my life and my family.

Take the Bread Pill brother, it's the only way.

Thank you, user. Right now I'm taking small steps but they've equaled a significant change, so this seems like a natural progression. My wife & daughter actually belong to episcopal church, but I always felt this was kinda of a meme church. What should I go for? We're all white 100% Aryan BTW.

I agree. But I feel like I've been listening to a bunch of edgy Atheists my whole adult life (used to be Liberal) & maybe I should at least give it a shot.

Forgot pic

Checked.
Church is for community; prayer and meditation is for knowing God.

>What should I go for? We're all white 100% Aryan BTW.
Personally I'd recommend not getting too tied up in denominations. I'd start by making Bible study a nightly habit (that's what I did, and still do). Although the Scripture calls us to fellowship, the Word and our faith in Christ are the most important, and any church that isn't basing their teachings strictly on the Bible is not one you want to be a part of.

Basically what said

>Do you think God'll treat me worse if I raise a religious family and go to church without actually believing?
Salvation is through faith, not acts brother.

That being said, you speak of God as though you believe in Him, so you're probably not too far from the path to Christ.

Attached: Faith Not Works.jpg (786x3099, 280K)

Guys, Jesus was a very insightful man, but believing that he was resurrected so that you can go to heaven is ridiculous, how can you justify that?

Attached: 1516036771774.png (852x944, 70K)

Attached: 1512950081960.jpg (500x406, 45K)

Can you partake without believing in zombie Jesus, or is it all or nothing?

Attached: 1492061906479.png (1292x8757, 3.91M)

As much as I like the Bible and Christians in general, I don't think you can get around the part about faith in Jesus' resurrection, and it's too much for me to swallow.

I just meat in general. Is going to church without believing in all the magical whoha something that's frowned upon? What if I believed Jesus existed but didn't walk the earth as a corpse?

Thanks, at least that's more than what I had to work off of before.

I too struggled with this at one time, greatly.

It is very difficult to believe that a man rose from the grave...and yet there is something about the tale that continues to fascinate me.

Don't rush to believe in something just because everybody else does, take your time, go slow, and read philosophy, theology, and take time to meditate and reflect.

I personally experienced the evil that resides in the hearts of men when I was a correctional officer, and experiencing that evil first hand led me down path I never thought I'd walk again...and as it turns out for I see the Risen Lord at the end of this road...but I'm not there yet.

Attached: 1493632256981.jpg (500x667, 143K)

Just a guess, they would probably rather you go so that they could convince you, but therein lies the problem.

How many will this bread pill?

Attached: Screenshot_20180330-150048.png (1440x2560, 466K)

The last day I went to church was when the pastor brought up some nigger/white woman couple to talk about some bullshit outreach program. I just got up and left. I still believe in Jesus Christ but there's no real churches left anymore.

Attached: 1499481647228.jpg (653x490, 95K)

But the image wasn't painted, thee was very archaic photograph technology during the time it was supposedly crafted (the shroud). It has been replicated using only the materials that age would have access to as well.

No, user, it has not been replicated. And there most certainly was not "archaic photograph technology" during that time.

Vade retro, Satana.

>there is something about the tale that continues to fascinate me
>I see the Risen Lord at the end of this road
I feel the same way when you put it that way.
>experiencing that evil first hand led me down path I never thought I'd walk again
Interesting that you returned to this path after seeing evil, because I had a similar experience - I dreamed of something that looked human only I could tell it wasn't by its eyes and then I woke up realizing what hell was. An user in Greece had a similar dream, believes it's Satan and we're meant to see the Prime Evil so that we know what to resist. Regardless I can tell with ever fiber of my being that the path we're on is the path away from it. What experiences working as a correctional officer gave you a firsthand look at evil?

My GF is religious, my brother is a young minister and pastor in training. Idgaf about religion, but I guess I am personally spiritual. However, church folk are largely upstanding people and the community and culture is very wholesome and moral. I plan on raising my kids with a church, and if it means I have to sit in and listen to their bullshit a few times a month, so be it.

If I wasnt pleases with my currebt GF so much, I could have fallen in love several times with other religious hoes like her. Dont believe the memes, trad women are everywhere, if you stop looking for em at gamestop or the bars (surprise).

I was interested in the part about the dirt so I looked it up, yes it matches ancient tombs around Jerusalem: web.archive.org/web/20110224180653/http://www.shroudstory.com/faq/Shroud-Turin-Travertine.htm

Other than the general everyday violence?

There was a couple times when I was involved in physical altercations with inmates that had just...snapped. A few times I looked into their eyes and saw what I can only describe as "something else."

Then I worked in a place that housed the top 8 worst inmates in the institution. Sex offenders, murderers... you name it.

I held vigil over their psychiatric and counseling sessions, saw that they had rational minds...yet were entirely, well, evil. They *liked* doing those things...

I really tried to be a Christian. I believe in their commandments, but I Think everything else is bulllshit. They just want your $.

Why would anyone bother going to a church? Even if you believe in this stuff, good luck finding a church that isn't cucked.

No teach them paganism as close as you can and follow what Varg talks about or at least close to it. Dont worship a fucking jew.

I'm the same way but I follow paganism. I found that christianity is to damn jewish.

Thats christianity my guy and containing worshiping the jew is just fucking mocking you.

>A few times I looked into their eyes and saw what I can only describe as "something else."
So we've all seen the same thing.

“The eye is the lamp of the body; so then if your eye is clear, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light that is in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!" -Matthew 6:22-23

>saw that they had rational minds...yet were entirely, well, evil. They *liked* doing those things
Sadly, this seems to exist in all of us, whenever I hear people say that an atrocity didn't happen, I would be more surprised if the atrocity *hadn't* happened given human nature.

Just curious, do you still work as a correctional officer?

>church folk
>upstanding
This is laughable. Most people don't even read their Bibles and understand Christ's message. It is objectively visible in the agendas that are pushed through politically. They fly in the face of Christ's teaching.
>eg.synagogue of satan, Christ comes with a sword, own a sword
Even turn the other cheek is wildly misinterpreted.

I say there's no harm in trying it out and seeing if you like it.

If Christ didn't die and resurrect to kill death and secure us a place in paradise then all is lost

You must believe Christ rose from the dead, it's the central point of Christian theology.

He didn't walk the earth as a corpse, he wasn't a reanimated corpse, his body was glorified and brought to an even higher state of life than it was before his death.

It may be hard to believe and there's a lot of misunderstanding, I highly recommend reading "On the Incarnation of the Word" by Athanasius of Alexandria

>using St. John Chryostom to justify Judaizing

It is the nature of the Fall of Man that such evil can find safe harbor within us all.

I too felt the pull of sin strongly, especially wrath and pride. I grew to enjoy returning violence for violence...and oh how good I was at it. To have another man trying to gravely injure...or even kill you...and you *defeat* his attempt...well it's quite a drug. But then you go home, and the anger, malice, and hatred of those evil men remains with you. You become irritable, angry, and unable to trust anybody.

I no longer work as a CO. I left to do investigative work for another agency. But I certainly miss being being a CO every day. There is something about triumphing over evil men at the end of the day, coming home covered in OC spray, that is fulfilling.

What of it, user? The Lord, Creator of the Universe, Alpha and Omega, The Son of Man, True God and True Man, took on flesh; he became a human being...and that human being was an ancient Israelite that we now refer to as "Jews."

Let's talk it through

>The tomb was unguarded
The Roman guards (who had been put there by the Pharisees to prevent Jesus's worshipers from exhuming his body) had abandoned their post. These guards would have likely been imprisoned or killed for disobeying orders, yet they still fled from something (like, say Jesus rolling aside a massive stone and walking out of his grave?)

>Maybe the guards were paid off?
Highly unlikely. The only people who would have benefited from making people think Jesus was alive were the Disciples, who were penniless and had all gone into hiding after the Crucifixion. Either way, they wouldn't have risked their lives over it.

>Maybe the Disciples somehow snuck passed the guards, rolled away the stone, and made off with Jesus's body?
Impossible. After the Crucifixion the Disciples fled for their lives. Jesus found them hiding in distant homes, cowering from the Romans.

>Could the Disciples have made it all up?
In the days after the Resurrection thousands of people were said to see Jesus in the area around Calvary, and there were literally thousands of converts in a few days to a faith that had been declared punishable by death. They saw something real.

>What about the Disciples?
After seeing Jesus risen from the dead his Disciples spent the rest of their lives traveling the world, living in poverty, spreading Jesus's word. They all went to horrible deaths never recanting Jesus (a man they had abandoned before they'd seen Him risen.

This is all to speak nothing of that Jesus prophesied his own death and Resurrection multiple times, and his life was a fulfillment of thousands of years of prophecy.

>all is lost
Someone hasn't read Marx and Engels.

Worked in Gods garden for several years burying the dead uns. Was in and around that church yard every day, never saw hide nor hair of the old fella. Nature was always about, but the old man, i don't think he takes you Christians seriously.

I don't go to church but am a true believer.

>Christianity
>The worship of Christ, who spent most of His ministry calling out the Jews for being a synagogue of Satan, and was ultimately killed by the Jews for exposing their hypocrisy and sin
>Is too damn Jewish
I've really never understood this thought process. Reading the Bible (including the Old Testament) was what actually redpilled me on the Jews in the first place.

Attached: Jesus was not a Jew.png (1860x1108, 225K)

The Truth of human existence is the Bible and nothing else. You won't find peace, satisfaction or truth in anything else and I guarantee you this.

We are made by God and this existence has meaning. When we die we will come face to face with our creator.

Christ died for our sins. The only sinless man to ever exist in history, the least deserving man of death gave himself up voluntarily to be murdered in the most horrific execution devised by humans in history so us pieces of sinfilled garbage would have a way back to our creator, and not have to perish. Jesus defeated death and thus shows us the point of life here.

You have this knowledge and no excuse now. Every man makes his choice - believe or don't, and every man will face the consequences.

Religion is for people who can't motivate themselves.
You're doing well on your own so it's up to you really, just don't get cucked like 99% of Christians

Thanks friend that had a big impact.

Well said, user.

One thing that pushed me back on the long road to the Lord was this:

Why is Christianity, and what it stands for, *always* the one religion under attack, derided, made fun of, and lampooned on every media outlet and within much of academia?

Why Christianity? Why the Lord when we have SO many other faith traditions and godly figures throughout the world today.

They're all sacred cows...except Christianity.

Then I realized that Truth will always be under attack in this valley of tears we live in. And that I was witnessing what Michael Walsh described in his book "The Devils Pleasure Palace" as the satanic.

Good for you leaf. I will burn one with you in Heaven.

100% this, and it's not like Jesus didn't warn us in Matthew 10:22
>You will be hated by everyone because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved

How can you say you were saved by christ while advocating white nationalism with a straight face?

It baffles me. would Be turn away someone based on their race, or allow someone in because of their race?

Through Jesus you're saved, not your race. I doubt he cares what you look like.

Belief takes time for some people. So God will be very happy that you raised your family the right way, adn He will be merciful if you still never believed. Also, only if you go to the Catholic Church.

Fucking can't read eh Muhammad? He didn't advocate white nationalism. He simply mentioned white children. If he is white, and his wife is white, then they will have white children. Kinda like how you are a fucking disgusting paki, and ur wife is ur cousin, and your children will be retarded demons.

cuck. your childrne will hate you and your wife will live you. all of these will happen in 5-7 years. remember those exact words you read on this day

Try reading Who Moved the Stone or The Case for Christ. Christianity is based on a fact.
Personally I wasn't hung up on the fact that the fact, the ressurection was a miracle, because the wholr ordered world we live in is a miracle.
I love the episcopal hurch, but mine is very old fashioned. GL user

I'm white.

Let's be hon est, he's on Jow Forums, talking about his white kids he isn t just mentioning it for no reason.

We al l know what he meant. What are you going to say to Jesus when he asked why you called his children disgusting pakis?

Who hurt you, brother?

He should of just said kids and not white kids is your point? Seems like a pretty stupid point.
