Texas is shit. It gets hot as fuck and everyone here hates everyone else. There is no state pride and no good food to eat. Stay away, especially if you are Californian, as you will hate it here. Even if you did move here, you could never find a place as we are full and housing is insanely expensive, even in the middle of the countryside.

Maryland has good and bad parts. Montgomery County is filthy rich and developed but full of propaganda and Salvadoran immigrants in some areas. PG County is a crime ridden shithole. So is most of Baltimore. A lot of the rest of the state is just rural towns, which can comfy but often have issues with alcohol and opioid abuse. Overall we rank above most other states IIRC though.
