does anyone have any advice on how to prevent allergic reaction to weed? i like it a lot when i don't have an allergic reaction bordering on full blown anaphylactic shock but that's rare. even a very small hit of meh weed can throw me into a several hour allergic meltdown where i can't breath, feel like my throat is closing, heart is racing, mind is spinning, etc. i went to the hospital over this years ago, legitimately thinking i was about to choke to death from my throat closing. it's an actual physiological reaction, it's not "in my head", because i can be completely cool and calm and smoke and then enjoy it for a few minutes and then i can feel my whole body tense up in reaction to it. i find life boring and one dimensional without getting high.

I fucking hate weed and drugs it destroyed my friendship with multiple people. It went all the same schematic: at first they try it once and then every weekend for parties or what ever. Then it becomes more regulary until they will place everything behind it in order to smoke a joont or sth. Just this weekend i usually invite them for grill and beer and have a nice day. But this time it was different "dude I don't want to drink I just want to casually grill and getting drunk is stressing me out I have work to do next day bla bla" just excuses for rather smoke than do the more important thing which is to meet with old friends. I can tell you as a Colorado user that legalizing marijuana is one of the biggest mistakes in my state's history. "Muh increased revenue" meme is bullshit, because cops spend the additional tax revenue busting and tracking illegal grow operations. I don't know about political impacts, but I know that it's been proven to be a great painkiller and helps people with seizures and other serious disorders. It's not miracle cure, but it should seriously be an option for people seeking a cure for chronic pain or life threathening illnesses that otherwise aren't or can't be treated.
