Finnish boy, 17, and the youngest gay icon of Finland, named Tuure Boelius, from Björn Borg city in South West Finland, has gotten death threats from Finnish Ice Hockey fans after he released his newest song.
The song is named "lätkäjätkä-Ville" (ice hockey playing guy named Ville) and it is about young homosexual relationship between two ice hockey players.
Tuure sings how Ville is the dream of every teenage girl but he simply turns down all the girls and goes for boys instead.
The reception has been fifty-sixty positive and negative. Mainly ice hockey fans are furious and ice hockey has traditionally been very heterosexual sport.
Ice Hockey manager named Juhani "Tami" Tamminen says he has never seen an homosexual ice hockey player. Clearly this is a taboo. Football players in Finland on the other hand are very homosexual so there is a big contrast between these two largely popular sports.
I believe that this is a joke. Our sport and music icon Matti Nykänen has used this fifty-sixty when he was meaning to say fifty-fifty.
