Look, public schools are the bare minimum effort towards educating children. Throwing more money into teachers' salaries won't change that. It's a half-assed substitute for having a mother at home to educate her kids or having a tutor spend time teaching a kid. It's an extremely inefficient system where 90% of what is taught is useless to 99% of the dumbass students. The other 1% are then held to the pace of the other losers who won't even benefit from all the tax funded resources thrown at them, thus stunting the true potential of any student who is worth a damn. I personally endeavor to provide my kids with a better education than this state run day care center provides and I sure as hell don't intend to contribute to wasting money on these other retards.

What a perfect opportunity to mass lay off these whiny greedy politically driven teachers. All that has to be done is show how overpaid the teachers in the top states are and demonstrate that teachers in Arizona are making a livable wage. Secondly we want teachers who do it for the kids, not the money. Hit that angle and demonstrate that making it a profession with a high as balls salary and low level of entry will ruin the quality.
