The beloved normie e-celeb Phil deFranco recently had a video on the backpage scandal and sex workers in general, and at the end of his rant, he promotes the hands-off liberal idea of "people can do whatever they want with their bodies, we should legalize sex workers they are a valid industry of employment and deserve respect!"
While his commentary and influence are questionable, what is daunting is how much people in the comments section are advocating for the decriminalization of prostituion, praising prostitutes for doing jobs that are so life-threatening, and refusing to even call them anything other than "sex workers" because its disrespectful to their dignity as "hard working individuals."
Don't get me wrong, I understand prostitution is the oldest profession in the world and a utility for women in poverty to attempt to make some cashflow if their options are limited, but I feel like in the ever increasing social laxness we have in the West, that removing legal repercussions to being a prostitute and making a viable "career" sounds like another nail in the coffin of whatever semblance of western morality is left.
Do you think Phil DeFranco wants his 2 children to grow up to have the legal privilege to be productive and capable "sex workers?" Do you think prostitution should be legalized and "sex workers" have their social stigma removed?
The problems start when beta cucks try to turn whores into wives.
James Rodriguez
Hang in there incels. Help is coming! And yes, it should be legal. The current prices are ridiculous.
Tyler Martin
>we should legalize sex workers Yes.
>they are a valid industry of employment and deserve respect No.
Christian Jenkins
>muh oldest profession. prostitution is cancer for society
Jordan Ortiz
The Somalian has it right.
Brayden Harris
Basically what pros say to normal women >she does it for free Only as guys all know, she doesn't do it for free. "Real" women are much more expensive. Sure, there's good conservative women but they're in ridiculously short supply. For the rest of us, there's volcel or prostitution.
I think it should be legalized, but by legalized I don't mean "the government gets involved and heavily regulates it because muh children".
So, keep it illegal.
Charles Garcia
The prices are ridiculous because men value pussy so high. Finnish prostitution is taken over by girls from ex-soviet block because here men are willing to pay so much to fuck them when compared to their homelands.
Eli Gutierrez
Those whores should be the ones paying for that big binland benis.
Angel Morales
>paying a woman for one time sex instead of flying to eastern Europe and finding a submissive wife
Anyone think that cats are better than dogs? Or maybe there's some attractive aboriginals. Perhaps Jordan Peterson is no longer /ourguy/. Been a weird shilling morning so far.
Nathaniel Murphy
It will never truly disappear and is a common thing since forever so it is only pragmatic to have it legalized. Also in a legal enviroment STDs can be prevented much better. But it should NOT be normalized. Not linguistically by inventing an euphemism like "Sex work" and not in any other way. It has to remain a shameful and stigmatized thing, even when legal so it stays more or less a fringe thing.
Many of those bad things wouldn't be so relevant if we had it just a little. But the ways society works today, all the bad things are being praised and encouraged. And that's a huge mistake. If people wanna use prostitutes - let them, but discourage it.
Jace Davis
they might as well legalize it since tinder has made sugar baby & daddy arrangements normalized....it's just prostitution under a different name and not regulated and the girls don't pay tax on what their sugar daddy gives them. why would a girl bother to set up a legal business as a hooker and pay taxes when she can just get a sugar daddy off a dating site.
Sebastian Johnson
>people can do whatever they want with their bodies, we should legalize sex workers they are a valid industry of employment and deserve respect! Remove the "deserve respect" part and we're A-OK. It's like saying "restaurant cooks deserve your help in washing dishes". No, the whole fucking point of the restaurant industry is that you go there wehn you can't be assed.
Gabriel Parker
How do you keep it stigmatized while also making it accessible and legal in an ever weakening moral society that is always bending over backwards to be more accepting to anything?
As a German you of all people should know where this leads
Lucas Brown
I don't see how "working in a valid industry" automatically makes something respectable anyway. There are many "valid industries" that are dishonorable as fuck.
Jacob Carter
Oh you lads dont know a thing. GET ON OUR LEVEL
>Selling sex is legalized and has plenty of legal cover for why they shouldent pay taxes >gigolos have never had a precedent case so purely a feminist action >its still illegal to buy sex >if you order a prostitute and the police arrive, you will have to pay the whore to fuck off while you go to jail\pay a fine
You guys think you have sexual freedom? Please.
Philips arguments are made from a standpoint which is completely unrealistic compared to the laws that pass when this issue comes up. We thought we fought for legalized prostitution and we got some pseudo feminist criminal blackmail arrangement instead.
A brothel where the women are consenting and protected is much different from a woman being pimped out and put in danger.
James Allen
Normie discourse on porn and prostitution is always hilarious.
Is it empowering to women? Is it degrading? Heres two feminist turbodykes who have read the same ((shit)) and came to polar opposite conclusions
Thomas Gomez
>prostitutes yes >social stigma removed? of course not
if there aren't prostitutes competing in the field, all women turn into whores; when there're prostitutes, they either choose to compete as whores or choose to compete as wives.
Evan Gray
So you are accepting of the lucrative option of your sons and daughters to just ditch school and be holes for people to plug their genitals into for momentary pleasure?
Shame them if you like, but they can make a lot of money quickly and its fun daddy! :^)
William Cox
who is max resdefault?
Kayden Lee
In other respects, yes, we have, but prostitution is legal here and not a huge problem. Just because everybody knows that if you use a prostitute 99% of your friends wouldn't talk to you anymore if they knew. At least it was like that a few years ago, now with all the liberalism it's probably a little more accepted amongst men here too.
Outlawing a thousand little things won't get you anywhere. Educate your populus, teach them conservative thinking, end social benefits and they will be more or less forced use their freedom responsibly. Because if they don't, they'll fall behind everyone else and no one will be there to help them when they fell into the grave they dug for themselves.
Ian James
At least here it's the very issue that's dividing feminists. The older generations almost universally thinks that it's all wrong and should be banned, while younger feminists have that "muh sex workers"-angle.
Kayden Martin
If they're my sons and daughters it's obviously not their decision but mine.
Nathan Cooper

not once they become independent. Your child graduates, and now they can just be a prostitute making 80 Euros an hour without going to school doing something that is fun!
If there is no repercussions for actions in a society that endlessly breaks down its own moral fiber for the sake of "progress and acceptance" then you just proved my point. Unless society somehow changes to become mainstream conservative again in consolidated values, legalizing prostitution in a society where every day the taboo becomes "progressive!" is asking to validate prostitution as a career path for your children once they are autonomous. You are asking for Caligula
I'm saying this as somebody who has used prostitutes more than a few times and will into the future.
They almost never refer to themselves as "whores" or "prostitutes" or "hookers". It's always been something banal sounding like "sex worker" or most commonly "escort". It can also be illegal to advertise "this is for sex", whereas "companionship" or whatever has the same connotation but not illegality As for keeping it illegal, I'd say it should be legalized, just not promoted/advertised unless people specifically go looking for it (such as typing in "escorts in my area") into google.
It's actually something important to society that guys can get laid if they want to, especially if they're not normally able to get it. Fuckheads will refuse to understand this because they think it's only about getting your rocks off, but sometimes you want somebody to hang out with and fuck. Especially if your job is isolating like mine is.
Like I said, the usual peanut gallery of morons will try and complain about this as either unnatural, sad, pathetic, or some other bullshit I honestly don't give a shit about at all because the facts are there whether they accept them or not. I can think of quite a number of guys who if they had just gotten laid once or twice would have had a much better go of things.
Maybe some women hate it because guys don't have to try so hard to get laid with them when we can just use a hooker.
fuck you and ur moral fiber, i know right and wrong i dont need some1 to tell me.
Easton Scott
>not once they become independent. Your child graduates, and now they can just be a prostitute making 80 Euros an hour without going to school doing something that is fun! Well yes and no. I know many people from conservative families, especially women, who still listen to everything their father says, no matter how old they get. Even in 2018 you can your children to become decent people. Might require the belt from time to time though. >f there is no repercussions for actions in a society that endlessly breaks down its own moral fiber for the sake of "progress and acceptance" then you just proved my point. Unless society somehow changes to become mainstream conservative again in consolidated values, legalizing prostitution in a society where every day the taboo becomes "progressive!" is asking to validate prostitution as a career path for your children once they are autonomous. You are asking for Caligula Yes of course! Making mainstream conservative again is exactly what I'm after! Instead of having shit people that are kept in check with laws, let's just have decent people.
Joseph Gonzalez
It's already legal here. They still have to crack down on unregulated shit that is much less safe but the legal options have not had a huge impact and mostly just give people that do it a safer option and bring in a bit of money from tourists lured out of Vegas.
>Do liberals oppose it? The only relevant question
Levi Cruz
>we should legalize sex workers
no, you fucking degenerate
and I agree with second point
David Butler
Yes but legalizing now while society is in hyper-acceptance mode would be the wrong time do to it. I do believe in the freedom of individuals to do anything they so desire with themselves, their property, and their actions in-so-far as it doesn't infringe on others, but the premise of that, at least from a constitutional americans point of view, is the agreed upon culture and moral fiber that holds society back indulging into or at least too much into vices that brake down the foundations of our peaceful and moral society.
I commend you in believing in people and their ability to hold these values firmly in the face of the torrent of progressvism overloading our culture at the moment, but it for moments like this where society is most weak that we require some small laws to battle against the possible intentions of individuals to indulge in their more base actions against their modernized human dignity as viable career.
Unfortunately voices and intentions like your are the minority right now, drowned out by the progressive narrative in media and social media right now.
There was this quote about peak degeneration before a major plague: the writer observed peak degeneration when some man payed a prepubescent boy to jerk off in a bar so everyone can see and they all laughed cause he couldn't cum or some shit
Jace Williams
prostitution may not be the final solution to the roastie question, but it is a solution
Nolan Barnes
>it should be legalized but not promoted
the trend will eventually gain popularity, so no, don't legalize this degenerate shit
Kayden Stewart
Depends how you sell it to them. If you say "it's uh...it's empowering!" they will instantly say yes. If you say "the eternal incel might get laid!" then they'll oppose it with all their might.
>gain popularity
Everybody already knows hookers exist, we're not encouraging people to do it. Their own drive for hornyness does that.
Jack Morales
All the collapsed empires legalized prostitution shortly before collapse. Coincidence?
Logan Allen
Well now I'm confused myself
Logan Nelson
once it becomes legalized, people will flock to it, some because they were afraid to be caught before, some out of pure curiosity since it's now legal
Easton Thomas
Yes.
Ian Stewart
This isn't how it works, for fucks sake when will you idiots learn.
Brayden Ward
I agree. Freedom is for intelligent human beings, not for monkeys and you're probably right about the bad timing. At this point in time the question is more whether it would even still make a difference and which possibility is better for basic damage control. There is hope though. Because this all dosn't seem to evolve solely into one direction. There is a conservative uprising, many young people are more conservative than their parents now. It's almost like giving the child crying for chocolate so much chocolate that the child will get sick of it. People are...kinda saturated. Kinda saturated with all that liberal crap. And the SJW nuts are always pushing it further and further, more and more people wanna run away from that modernity and just go and live a happy life (Which worked fine for the last few millenia, can't be so wrong today then desu).
Alexander Peterson
Did you only discover that "Liberals" have no convictions?
Asher Lopez
Sure, allow sex doll brothels too. Let them compete.
Luke Ross
It's been legal here forever and has not really caused any public degeneracy problems since public sale of sex and brothels are illegal. All prostitution is out of public sight, hookers are hired online and there is a social stigma about it so it happens in secrecy and private spaces. It's a good way to deal with it.
Jaxon Richardson
How about taxes?
Sebastian Cox
yes this is how it fucking works, once people are told they can do something that they couldn't before, risk free, it's guaranteed that people (not everyone) will go do it
Jaxon Barnes
Same thing for soft drugs btw. Just tax the shit out of all that and give that money to the more proficient people haha
Luis Morris
It's considered income that should be reported and is taxed, but there is no way to really regulate it.
Connor Jackson
The Finn has already told you how it works. This *is* how it is working *now*. You are telling me things will go in one direction, when I am in the society where it has been enacted and has not gone that way. At all.
Josiah Morgan
defranco is the biggest faggot alive
Ian Walker
what we need is to get rid of the police
the problem is not prostitution
the problem is police officers
we need a government that declares open season on police officers
any politician who protects a police officer is a threat, these are invasive pests
>there is a social stigma about it so it happens in secrecy and private spaces the problem is that this part won't apply here. it will be promoted as virtuous and applauded and encouraged...the more women who feel guilty and shameful for whoring themselves out, the more they'll encourage other young pure women to do the same so that they don't feel like the only ones doing it and can rationalize it as "well everyone is doing it so I'm not a slut". that's where society will fall apart.
Jose Lewis
kill the police officers
kill the niggers
kill the white niggers
kill the jews
Liam Morales
the people who pretend sex is a crime need are life unworthy of life
they hate the cycle of life and they are a threat

Noah Morris
Please take your meds.
Evan Watson
open season on police officers
open season on niggers
these fucking thieves threaten us and push us around every day
these pieces of shit need their blood spilled in a very disgusting show
we need blood and shit on the street
I want to see the shit of a cop spread all over the street, and covered in cop blood
we need cop killer art, art about executing cops in brutal, disgusting, horrific ways that inflict terror and dehumanize the viewer
Elijah Jenkins
Over years ot will only devalue women.
How the hell can you not be in support of this?
Chicks cant be super cunts or we will just fuck the neighborhoods certified safe "living sex doll"
Tyler Hill
I agree that prostitution should be legal but we should investigate their deaths as a last priority. Maybe shove the case aside for a few decades after the body is found y'know
Nolan Howard
You cannot oust degeneracy (I mean TRUE degeneracy) through force. That's a losing battle. At the heart of all virtue is vice and at the heart of all vice is virtue.
My suspicion is that if you legalize it, you're going to see the vast majority of women stay far, far away from it. In fact, I would bet money on it.
Prostitution is literally a good thing. Full legalisation would make life easier for a lot of people.
Nicholas Moore
You can legalize them But they don't deserve fucking respect It's still filthy and degenerate but there is a valid argument for legalizing it
Landon Hill
Problem is STDs
Also that 30% of the population that finds it hard to find a partner will just use sex workers so it's not ideal socially imo
Brayden Howard
>STDs Easy solution, their bosses can make it a requirement that they get frequent checkups to make sure they don't have any, if they get one they can be let go >not ideal socially You'd rather those people never find love or sex at all? Pretty cruel.
Adrian Sullivan
Look at any country with legalized prostitution and ask yourself if that’s remotely true.
Hudson Perry
If it's the oldest profession what were they paid in?
Thomas Howard
>we need a government that declares open season on police officers why are you so booty blasted that you keep replying to the OP over and over with nothing different to say?
Could it be you're one of those "shills" I've heard so much about?
Nolan Robinson
this Also, keeping the tone down and not going full "vageena power" and "slut pride" tends to avoid problems. Dealing often, knowingly or not, with adultery, it's better for them to keep their endeavors out of the radar of the normiesphere or there could be far more dead hookers.
Andrew Peterson
>all these european countries It's the same bullshit argument that happens when lefties pretend Denmark is a socialist paradise. We're not importing Europeans... and neither are they.
Ethan Morales
I worry that by legalising prostitution, it will eventually lead to normalization of the profession. I don't want to live in a society where people have to see their bodys to get by if we have a bad economy for X reason.
Asher Williams
The Jews were the first to legalize prostitution. Stop being degenerate.
Julian Rodriguez
I don't think it's a euphemism, because I think prostitution is the first thing people think of when they hear the term "sex worker." I think more people are just viewing it as acceptable.
On a gut, instinctive level, I'm against legalizing it. It's pretty disgusting and degenerate. However, I also feel the law should foremost be about eliminating sex trafficking; there's conflicting information on whether that means legalizing it, making the penalties even harsher, or implementing the "Swedish law" (wherein it's legal to be a prostitute, but illegal to solicit/be a John).
Ryan Miller
>Implying "sexual freedom" is a thing and the whole thing is not just women picking men they want to mate with
Jace Roberts
in the near future you will have two career options:
slave or sex slave
get ready, because you did this
Hudson Carter
As a Libertarian, I've always been in favor of legalized prostitution on pragmatic grounds. When you criminalize something, you create a cluster of crimes. Prostitutes get enslaved, raped, forced into abortions, physically abused, robbed, and more. Pimps commit money laundering, fraud, and tax evasion simply by virtue of being illegal laborers and on top of that they are drastically more prone to committing the above litany of crimes, and more, than a legitimate employer. Not to mention drastically higher rates of coerced drug use and with it health problems and drug crimes.
Look at any place where prostitution is legalized and these problems are smaller by an order of magnitude. Legal sex work drives down prices, which means there's less incentive for women to do it on top of the lower rate of sex slavery and the lower added costs that come with an illegal profession.
I'm not saying let the free market take care of it, I'm saying prohibition has forced the free market to take care of it with nightmarish results.
all women are sex workers anyway even marriage is glorified prostitution at best so might as well let people willingly sort it out themselves, instead of letting mafias prosper from it
Jaxon Morris
It's already 100% legal in Nevada, at least in Brothels. If this bothers you why aren't you complaining about it instead?
You're not because you don't actually care.
Isaiah Hall
I'm going to lose my v card to a prostitute. If you stop me from doing this I'll definitely consider supreme gentlemanning. On a less serious note, prostitution is dangerous because it is not regulated and legal. Women have to deal with men that are shifty as fuck either as pimps or clients. These men would get weeded out if it were legal.
Jayden White
>Should sex work be legalize Ummm I don't know, at first I thought it would be a great Idea, but heard doing so would lead to underage sex work and also lead human trafficking of sex slave.
Isaiah Wright
That's already happening. Legalization would include regulation and therefore protection of sex workers and standards of service.
Angel Wood
God bless the free market.

Sex workers deserve a bullet. Nothing less.
where are your facts and numbers for this not hurting society?
Luis Parker
>Australia has legal prostituion, hasn't hurt society. We're not importing Australians, either.
I'm not saying "don't do it" I'm just saying your argument is not what you think it is.
It's a State issue clearly, reserved to the states or the people by the Constitution. I'm fine either way. I think it should stay illegal but that's why the Constitution is written the way it is, so States can do what they want.
But your model should be African nations and Mexico, not fucking Australia and Norway.
Charles Robinson
>oldest profession That would be hunter or gatherer, what stupid meme is this?
Oliver Hall
Those two websites we're my go-to places for fapping and finding sexy whores to fuck. First off, all women are whores. They sell their pussy whether they admit it or not. Sex sells. It's human nature. It's evolution. Men need to spread their seed, and we subconsciously need woman for this purpose. Secondly, it's not like it has always been illegal. Lastly, people are going to do as they choose regardless of laws. Is it degenerate? Yes. But so are so many other things in life. We pick and choose according to our current life situation. I used to love looking at non-prostitue post on Craigslist. I would find a sexy WM4WM and imagine what it would feel like to fuck another man's wife while I watched him fuck mine. I'll be glad when they make new websites that do not infringe on human rights. I the mean time, I guess I'll just have to live with my asian massage parlors and eroticmonkey.com.
Mason Davis
Should be a career like anything else taxed under occupational health and safety all above table. Right now the there is serious inflation in the sexual marketplace of low tier ugly dumb unskilled vagina, you got 4 and 6s acting like 8s maybe if any guy could go pay for a chick much hotter there egos would cool and these ugly bitches would stay in there lanes and pay attention to the slightly over weight guy that like cats as much as they do and these other incel dudes would be able to get laid as well and not go on killing sprees. At this point I see it as being one of the only solutions to a society that is fucking people up.
Connor Flores
>oldest profession Ahh yes back before there was hunters and warriors there was prostitutes?
