I worked in a night club for 2 years. I really enjoyed it, for the most part. Drunk people are pretty friendly to the house staff, though, so maybe I have a distorted perspective. The music is loud, always with a heavy bass beat to grind to. Grinding is literally the only dance any pair of people engage in, ever. I had a few enjoyable penis-rubs on the butts of random girls, but it didn't take me long to lose interest in the really weird dynamic that occurs in these places. The only reason to go to a club, besides the excuse to get drunk again, is to grind on strange, sub-par people in the hopes of drunkenly hooking up with them.
