Diversity does not mean necessarily an older age . That is just how the PC science decides to interpret it.
Diversity is counted by counting the number of mutations .
What they don't tell you is that most of these mutations will be selected against in a harsher environment
Another thing that they don't tell you is that by interbreeding between 2 very different individuals, the first generations will have a very high variety, unlike typical siblings .There is evidence of breeding with primitive species of humans all over Africa.
And another thing they don't tell you , is that Africa is full of pocket populations that have been separated because of geographic causes. Africa is bigger than Europe + some of Asia, and until recently it had a very low number of individuals, forming populations that had few contacts. Nothing like this was ever possible somewhere else
