Dogs aren't carnivores and actually do really well on plant based diets. Look up Bramble the collie...lived to 25 human years on a vegan diet. Brambles owner had other dogs on vegan diets that lived to 19 and 20, as well.

This is animal abuse. Dogs and cats are carnivores. There is no "vegan" pet food out on the market right now that will provide adequate nutrition. This is a slow, slow death for a dog. If she feels this strongly about it, she needs to give her dog away and get a fish or a bird.

Eh, unless something has changed, none of the "vegan" foods on the market for dogs provides adequate nutrition. Yeah, sure, dogs will eat anything, and do have a broader palate than cats, but over time, a diet that is exclusively vegan will kill a dog.
