In fact mocking the soldier is a bad way to train him.
It will lead to the said soldier to depression, trauma... and low his/her effectivity in combat... You have to mentally prepare the soldier with other methods.
Crying is natural in the human body and is fuckimg normal in an army, why can't you get it? Soldiers are exposed to a very high pressure over them all the time, if someone cry the training should carry on and if he is too loud, the training should stop a minute to make the soldier calm himself and then carry on.

It's not him shouting at her that's gotten him into bother, there's plenty of shouting that goes on in phase 1 (where we do bayonet training) and I'm sure she's a smart enough girl to realise there's a reason why you're yelled at throughout (combat isn't quiet, same reason you get woken up at 4am, that's when most ambushes are)
It's him recording himself yelling at female recruits like a big man and then uploading it to facebook. It's a breach of trust and every recruit should have have utmost trust in their superiors, especially at the beginning of phase 1 where you're at your most vulnerable, mentally.
Hope they throw the book at the cunt because even thinking of doing that shows he hasn't got what it takes to be a full screw, especially at pirbright.

He's trying to get her psyched up to simulate killing an enemy, of course he's going to yell and curse. You need to have that killer instinct and aggression ready to channel in the case of an actual combat situation.

Oh I remember first-aid training when we had to carry one of us in a stretcher for 2km in the woods and we had to run fast (because in simulation the guy was bleeding to death). That was hard as fuck for all of us, even the sportiest guy in the group, I know I wouldn't want a female squad member who wouldn't be able to carry me to the medical tent if I would get wounded.
Arguably you could train women into good enough urban soldiers because its not physically quite so tough thanks to the slow advancing speed and small fighting areas. But given how the risk of death is 70% higher than out in the wilderness, its also far more mentally taxing because death lurks literally in every corner and room and you could die instantly at any moment no matter how good a soldier you are.
