I think most people agree that there should be more balance between the two genders, and we should recognize the masculine side of women and appreciate what they want to achieve, and also recognize that they need the emotional nurturing that they provide to those who they are with. When those things are in balance, you have a kind and good society. One that considers women not as something separate from men, but complimentary to them, and vice versa. We also need to be accepting that while someone /is the biology they are/, they can have a more masculine or feminine energy and this will make them desire a partner that will balance their energy.
When we understand it in that way, it is appealing. But calling it feminism brings in a lot of hurt feelings and anger about the past. Every day new people are born, and they are not from the past. We can't allow the past to punish us forever. We didn't make the past, we are just a product of circumstance.
I think it is crucial to have the balance, but also crucial to remove the labels of "feminism" and make it clear as to what the goals are, balance between the masculine and feminine energies. It's okay for men to act feminine and women to act masculine, men are men and women are women all the same. Balance without labels.
