we all like to make jokes and all, and a lot of people have made it in american and became very succesful, even today.
But its also really sad that millenials grew up in a time period of complete deconstruction.
>we watched the public news stations transform into partisan bias propaganda outlets
>we watched our president clinton lie to the public and make a mockery of the impeachment process
>We watched the VP run Bushs 8 year term, bush was really not that bad of a dude... he was wedged and just said fuck it like most people would and played the game
>We watched public sports become refballs so that a few special teams got their way, we also watched big money destroy baseball and so many sports for kids became pay to play
>we watched the big corporations get away with whatever they wanted and nothing be done about it
>we watched the family structure break down in real time and we were all victims of it
Nowadays, what is left... all of these problems are multiplied and exacerbated, I legit can find one thing to keep living for, I got injured at work and my entire 20s has been sick and hurt... and alone. I see regular guys complain about getting no girls and I just gave up on it cuz I knew no one would ever want to be with someone who has the physical health of a 50 year old.
And every day its an onslaught of bad news drilling it into your head, there is no escapism in sports or vidya, its all been deconstructed... music is nothing but commercial jingles or degenerate fuel.
I really cant laugh at anything anymore, I just would like to know what it was like to live in a time where it wasnt like this. I know shit has always been fucked, but now its just magnified and its impossible to find someone to spend your life with or even to keep friends seeing as how so many will fuck each other over for their own gain.
This is like a dog eat dog dystopia.
