You can join a lot of ongoing conflicts. There's some downsides to this.

Your life will considered more expendable than the average solider. You'll probably end up on a watch list at the least. You could face criminal charges when you go back to the US depending on which side of the conflict you joined.

I considered this but came to the conclusion that it's just not worth it. Compared to enlisting in your local ZOG military, they expect twice as much while you're twice as expendable. And the pay is no good.
Just collect military manuals and effects and go plsy airsoft. You can shoot your friends and laugh about it afterwards
