Weed was never for me. It always made me anxious and paranoid, but I ignored the side effects and kept smoking because I liked the good parts of the high.

It's weird. I've also done the psychedelic mescaline (from the cactus) and even though the experience was on a whole different level of intensity and quality, I found the trip easier to handle than being high on marijuana. I felt more comfortable despite seeing crazy visuals for hours and delving deep into my subconscious. Having said that I never tripped again on mescaline due to the intensity. It's just too much of a commitment to make again.

It also causes gynecomastia (man boobs). I had this painful little lump in my peck. Went to the doc, got a mammogram and ultrasounds and stuff. Got diagnosed with that. The doc said to not touch it and quit smoking and it would go away. I did, and it went away. I was freaking out because I thought it was cancer, but it was in fact the beginning of a man-boob. I'm not even fat, either.
