>west bank style israeli settlers in syria when ? i think we should go for it ,start doing it in syria and slowly move in to lebanon and iran as they have civil wars .
Could have been a janny lurking the thread, that could explain why it happened so fast after I posted it. Maybe they wanted to avoid it turning into a pseudo mutt posting thread. That could also explain why I didn't get b&
>I think it's quite coslty for our guys. Last count was roughly over 400 dead SAA and allies, and the hardest fighting is left to go. I still laugh about how so many thought this op was going to take a week or less, there is a reason why the SAA left this for one of the final offensives.

>SAA continue slow advance against ISIS, have not entered Yarmouk proper, are expecting heaviest casualties once inside I'm scared about what will happen. I was hoping that this would be like the battle for DeZ city, which looked like it would be a hard slog, but then just ended really quickly. The longer the battle for Yarmouk drags out, the more nervous I'm getting that it will be like the fight in the dense center of Mosul. Also, thanks for baking, but I just thought I'd let you know that the SouthFront (may 11) isn't a Syrian episode.
Well what can they do, Vladimir's S-300 delivery is still problematic
>I still laugh about how so many thought this op was going to take a week or less You've already posted this a few times insufferable smartass, we got it the first time
what baffles me is the fact that they get almost NO Russian help. They guide ''dumb'' artillery ''on'' target with drones and they get air ''support'' from Syrian MIG 21's.
How could it be destroyed? I thought the syrians shoot down every missile thrown at them hmmmmmmmmmm
Matthew Evans
How many SAMs SAA have? Israel constantly reports on the "total destruction" of air defense systems in Syria
S-200 combat crew is basically walking dead mans. Zero mobility - extremely easy to destroy. Although... Arabs managed to lose even ultramobile Pansir C1 Fucking useless monkeys
Jose Carter
I mean, is it really that hard to comission your own AA system? With funds and a proper team its doable. Is it not? It all comes down to knowledge and its application.
You want to see similar photos, but with S-300 radar, that bad? They can't protect their S-200, they managed to get their Pantsir sniped. And Pantsir is point defence system, that dedicated "defender" for S-family. I feel like those jew video single-handedly destroyed their chances to get S-300.
S-300 is great for taking down planes or big objects but Israel and the west prefer to use missile spam against Syria. Israel fires their rockets from Lebanon airspace so S-300's cant react. They need shitloads pantsir s1's with a solid trained crew.
Only Pantsir s1's are usefull against missle spam.
>that this would be like the battle for DeZ city, which looked like it would be a hard slog, but then just ended really quickly. A key difference was that in DeZ ISIS fell back down the Euphrates to Mayadin and Abukamal, remember how long they took to clear? Hell they are still having isolated attacks around Abukamal to this day, whereas in Yarmouk ISIS has nowhere to run.
>The longer the battle for Yarmouk drags out, the more nervous I'm getting that it will be like the fight in the dense center of Mosul. Nah, Mosul's Old City was much more heavily fortified and defended, give it a week or two and we'll see Yarmouk much more under control.

As if stealing our shekels isn't enough you are now stealing our memes. The shamelessness of the Jew knows no limits.

>With funds Syria don't have funds anymore. All those fancy-pansy stuff, like T-90, either credit buying or exchange for concessions for Gazprom, Rosneft and co. And yes, it's still very big amount of R&D. Even China just go in and bought some S-300 for reverse engineering, rather than making it from scratch.
Alexander Reed
Not really. Houthi have it's own DIY SAM - FLIR american civil thermal imager + old Soviet R-27T They hit 3 or 4 jets by this system
#Syria #Damascus #SouthDamascus Alyarmouk camp breaking: Concentrated airstrikes and artillery fire still ongoing on positions controlled by ISIS in al yarmouk camp and altadamoun and hajar alaswad from early morning till now.
>You've already posted this a few times insufferable smartass, we got it the first time Yeah I'll stop, I really wanted the UK happening fag to acknowledge his underestimation of the actual situation.
>You don't have to copy/produce exact copy of systems. producing domestic stuff is even harder than copies. The Iranians who have a pretty good domestic arms industry have only just started on breaking out of making copies when it comes to making AD systems. Even China is still somewhat reliant on using copied tech for theirs too. It's just a lot harder/more complicated than it appears. Avionics is the real bitch though when it comes to domestic military production
This really, the S300 wouldn't be a big deal since the jews rarely if ever enter Syrian airspace
You think a more stable and prosperous state could be arranged if syria would shrink more towards a coastal state and seek to adapt maybe the lebanese system of rule which has proven less volatile?

Well the Russians have been running multiple sorties every night, but from what I understand the government wanted to avoid totally levelling the districts and are unsure of how many civilians are still inside. Compare it to Mosul and Raqqa where the US coalition just bombed the fuck out of it until there was nothing left.
came with the added benefit of reducing potential tensions between local arabs and kurds. Can't have an uprising if there's no one to do it

Why is Iran as tier 3 but Saudis as tier 2? Iran is just about sexual trafficking. Is it because the tiers are by >U.S. State Department's Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons ?
Shut up leaf. I was pointing out they are of low moral character.

Yeah Hezbollah hezbollahs around there because the people want it that way and support them, but its not like they are at war with the government or cant get along with the christians and druze.

Nice country you have there, be a shame if 2006 happened again :D
Israel doesn't steal anything from Portugal, Israel is measurably doing better than Portugal in any economic aspect, and btw Portugal begs Israelis to get Portuguese passports and move there lol
