It's also poorly thought out bullshit. Societies that are pro-social and communal regularly out compete other animals and societies that are more individualistic. See Rome vs. Germanic tribes, Lions vs. Tigers, Humans vs. every other animal. Also the entire institution of human brain development is based on a highly nurturing biological strategy. High investment, high reward. If human infants were as "fit" and competitive as, say, deer we would be that much the lesser for it.
