Its easy to find many polls in Europe and America that show about half the population want zero immigration never mind a significant reduction. Even in the late 1960s the majority of the British population ascribed to implicit ethnic nationalism since all the polls said that the vast majority of Brits supported Enoch Powell, but do you know what happened? Nothing really. At best the feelings of the public slightly slowed the ethnic replacement of Europeans and often it did nothing.
