All the supposed "conservative" right-wing views on guns in the U.S. political spectrum are merely the cooked up propaganda pieces done by the NRA, funded by the gun manufacturers themselves. Before so much money was involved, the NRA didn't want guns in schools either, didn't support free open carrying of assault rifles, and all these other extremist shit concepts.
I don't have a problem with either. I just have a problem with the slippery slope being real. Yes, a lot of Americans, and the majority of Jow Forums idiots should not have the right to bear arms, but the wholesale removal of the right will infringe upon my rights, and I will not be able to defend myself.

A police officer who enjoyed a day of rest shot this Saturday shot a criminal who tried to assault a group of women and children concentrated in front of a school in the Brazilian city of Suzano to celebrate Mother's Day, in an event whose video went viral on the internet.
The incident occurred on Saturday morning in front of a private school in Suzano, a municipality in the Brazilian state of Sao Paulo, which organized an act for mothers' day, to which it invited students and parents.
The video that spread quickly through social networks shows the moment when, when the guests waited for the opening of the school doors, an armed man approaches, points his revolver against some of the women and tries to steal their belongings.
At that moment, a woman who was in the group took out her weapon and fired three shots at the aggressor, which hit him mainly in the chest.
The images also show the running of the people waiting for the party and the maneuver that the policewoman does, first to be safe from a possible reaction, and then to surrender the frustrated assailant on the floor and take the weapon away from her reach.
The assailant, aged 21, who was carrying a 38-caliber revolver and who had fired two shots before being shot, managed to be taken alive to a neighboring hospital but could not resist the injuries and died at the medical center.
The authorities reported that the agent is a member of the Fourth Battalion of Special Actions of the Police in Sao Paulo, the most populous state in Brazil.
