Well speaking personally, when I push past 5 days without sleep, the ugliness and raw nature of the world begins to lay bear. Also when it wore off I felt depressed for a week, it's not worth it. I'm guessing the depression part is where people will take it again to make the depression go away then they get addicted.

The only way I can see myself using it again is if I'm really drunk (I have very low willpower when drunk) and someone offers it to me and I'm like YOLO, that is how it happened the last two times. But that's rare.
