I checked these dudes out. Their music so far is decent and after feeling the vibe and seeing this song list I think they will make a good second album and handle this concept well.

The problem is people don't really want these kinds of messages in their music. People will listen to Donald Glover complain about society for 3 minutes so they can enjoy social media outrage in 10 minute bursts. No one wants a full album of this shit or an artist making only protest music anymore.

People want to hear Donald Glover rail against society for 3 minutes then catch his newest show on FX and see him in the new Star Wars flick by Disney.

I appreciate the effort. I hope hvtg can make some waves with this kind of message but they will probably not.
