I think some do "get it," but I think it's balanced with their deeply held "zero fucks given" attitude. If you wan't to witness a real "zero fucks given" attitude, visit any known jewish shopping place. For me, that's my local Wegman's, an upscale grocery store. I live on the East Coast, near big cities, with large pockets of Jewish people. That's fine. I go to the Wegman's occassionally to do produce or meat shopping, and I can instantly tell the Jews from the non-jews. Non-jews are generally aware of their surroundings and their space and will "give way" appropriately. Jews, on the other hand, could give two flying fucks about anyone but themselves. It's a remarkable thing to watch in person, and if you've never seen it, I highly recommend it.

I've visited NYC on a few occasions, too, and seen the Hasidic Jews, the younger ones, out in groups. Talk about living in your own world and their attitude toward the goyim. They drip disdain.

So, yeah, it's no wonder someone might want to walk up to them and punch one in their smug faces.

Do I "hate" them, though, even though they hate me? And, yes, I've seen the Pew studies that show Jews hate Evangelical Christians even more than they hate Muslims.
