George Carlin:

George Carlin:

"There's a reason that education sucks. And it's the same reason that it will never ever, ever be fixed. It's never going to get any better. Don't look for it. Be happy with what you got. Because the owners of this country don't want that. I'm talking about the real owners now. The real owners. The big, wealthy business interests that control things and make all the important decisions. Forget the politicians. The politicians are put there to give you the idea that you have freedom of choice. You don't. You have no choice. You have owners. They own you. They own everything. They own all the important land. They own and control the corporations. They've long since bought and paid for the Senate, the Congress, the state houses, and city halls. They got the judges in their back pocket. And they own all the big media companies so they control just about all of the news and information you get to hear. They got you by the balls. They spend billions of dollars every year lobbying, lobbying to get what they want. Well, we know what they want. They want more for themselves and less for everybody else.
But I'll tell you what they don't want. They don't want a population of citizens capable of critical thinking. They don't want well-informed. well-educated people capable of critical thinking. They're not interested in that. That doesn't help them. That's against their interest. That's right. They don't want people who are smart enough to sit around the kitchen table and figure out how badly they're getting fucked by a system that threw them overboard 30 fucking years ago. They don't want that. You know what they want? They want obedient workers. Obedient workers. People who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork and just dumb enough to passively accept all these increasingly shittier jobs with the lower pay, the longer hours, the reduced benefits."

Holy fuck, was Carlin /ourguy/?

Yes

He was right about everything, so it's more that we're /hisguys/.

thanks user

"the brainlets would be smart if they were only educated properly!" is the perfect and most pronounced signifier of a brainlet

>makes millions off the evil global media machine that’s dumbing us down
you wanted to hear a certain arrangement of words and he obliged you

the older i get the less I laugh at Carlin's routing and just nod in agreement instead

routing = routine*

>Holy fuck, was Carlin /ourguy/?
Carlin's last interview where he laughs like a boomer that Western Civilization will die because whites are cucked and says, "oh well, I'll be dead soon".

Redpilled - yes.
Boomer - yes

It’s really ironic that he had a contract with HBO and they’re the ones who showed him. HBO is the most jewish cable network and studio in existence

Yes and no. He was right on most topics, but he kinda started the whole "white people are evil" movement.

Carlin went full retard when he tried to be philosophical instead of funny. Just saying normie memes like "education sucks", "duh gubberment is corrupt", "wake up sheeple" isn't deep. It makes you look like a tool. Stick with the funny.

>boomer
He did more to wake people up than the average man.
There's nothing wrong with him taking solace in freedom through death. We literally look forward to WW3 because humanity can't be JEW'D if it's wiped out. What's the difference?

Don’t be fooled he was saying it was the media who was behind everything. Than later as the population started looking into things deeper they then discovered that the banks ran the country orchestrated everything. Notice how no one names the Jew but is aware of the Jew.

It’s utter madness. But oh well people should have paid attention and seek the answers out for themselves and when a bread crumb came they should haven’t bit on it like a retard they should have examined it more clearly. Oh well sucks to be them.

>he kinda started the whole "white people are evil" movement.

Source?

no he didnt you smelly kike

If he's still alive he'd be branded far right now

no

This is a perfect Carlin microcosm. He was right about some things, and entirely wrong about other things.

The real reason education is bad has nothing to do with corporations "owning you;" on the contrary corporations always want to renew their talent pools and get more efficient - that is the *primary* way they profit.

Education would be considerably better of private companies ran it. Of course then you run the risk of "well... certain companies will say certain things..." But that's no different than what the government does now.

No, education isn't bad because end the government or because of corporations. Education is bad because the system did collapse and is getting worse?
Why?
Because of US. Not "them" - not your neighbour. Not your uncle or your friend. No. All of us. And you.

Probably most of all, you.

And that's the same reason the education "system" isn't getting any better. Well, you know, that and an hilarious moral panic about race realism BEING real.

he hated republicans, was pro abortion and believed females were intelectually superior to males

Carlin was a hippie leftist. Like most leftists, they have a surface level grasp of the problems. They understand certain symptoms, but never the disease. Carlin is the type of leftist moron who thinks Education needs more funding, yet Education funding has increased consistently year on year. He's the exact type of person who thinks standards are irrelevant and has no problem with them slipping. Even as far back the 1960s, he was challenging morals in media and television. He was promoting a 'free love' promiscuous ideal with no holds barred on language and etiquette. He supported the opened borders, the marxists in education and 'civil rights'.

Carlin talked a big game on how society was fucked, but who fucked it? People like George and the masters who paid him that he never once questioned. Ultimately, people like Carlin refuse to take responsibility for what they did and what they pushed and allowed. He was nothing more than a jester for boomers to feel good about themselves.

This actually, it really began with him and was ultra edgy at the time but it was a mistake. Other than that he was a genius.

He's an old school liberal. Pro 1A and anti large government. You could even say he's a left leaning libertarian

He was an sjw cuck

Never could tell if carlin was laughing with us (the masses), or at us (along with his overlords).

His rants seem like they address some deeper truths; but they are still obscure and vague enough that as a normie, you still can’t get the whole big picture. He rants and vents to make the masses angry; but it isn’t clear who exactly he wants us to direct our anger at, really.

I like carlin because he’s very rational, smart and funny. Best comedian, as far as I’m concerned - but still not sure whose side he was on.

No. Not really.

Found the retard!

>Education would be considerably better of private companies ran it. Of course then you run the risk of "well... certain companies will say certain things..." But that's no different than what the government does now.

>muh free market

The same free market that bans conservative opinions and blocks conservative/nationalist websites? The same free market that promotes diversity and caves to progressive demands when a communist sneezes loudly? The same free market that supported democrat candidates in california and then moved their headquarters away from california and continues to fund democrats in their new HQ in Texas? Cuckservatives and Libertarians have this moronic delusion that private institutions are somehow better when all they seek is greater profit. Greater profit is just as poisonous to policy as liberal moralism. Neither pursues truth, neither seeks what is best for community or nation. Both are ultimately selfish goals that lead to nihilism.

The free market wont change a damn thing in the current progressive climate.

This is a perfect summary of Carlin. Well done, lad.

Carlin was a fucking comedian, you shouldn't be taking life lessons from a comedian

But standards and morality are irrelevant if the opposition have neither. It's why they have such a hard on for the non-conservative right after their SJW shit spawned a bunch of Hitler meming reactionary gnostics who reveled in outrage and amorality. That's supposed to be their territory.

Just another deconstructionist with no plans,
just complaining.
If he accomplished anything it was just to demoralize people.
Textbook useful idiot subversive.

As compared to what, they way your generation thinks, acts and feels?
Why are you pretending you give a fuck about "future generations"?

YOU DON'T.

What standards? Conservatives do not conserve. They never have, they never will. They put Liberty before Order and Truth. They allowed 'civil rights', homosexualism and trannies, interracialism and now 'pedosexuals' are the next hurdle, which they WILL cross. The non-conservative right has the most solid standard of all: Truth. Not the free market, not liberty, not equality, but truth. The truth isn't pretty, it never has been. We do not revel in amorality, we're the most hardline generation our civilization has seen in decades and our fundamental principle over all others is Truth.

Truth will conquer all.

>truth will conquer all
stfu oprah

>Education would be considerably better of private companies ran it.
god no. profit motive plus not directly accountable to the public? fuck that. Everytime a utility or core service gets sold to the private sector it gets worse or more expensive.

>not accountable to the public
It would only be a core service because compulsory education would force people to use it. Without compulsory compliance by law, it would ironically be even worst still because it WOULD be accountable to the public.

Imagine Starbucks running a middle school.
